I saw Dr. Courtney Dawson, and she was awesome! First she was thorough in determining the cause of my pain, and sent me to physical therapy to try to resolve it. When we realized that surgery was our only option and that I had a torn biceps tendon she scheduled the procedure. Prior to surgery she called me to tell me all that would happen in the operating room, and what her course of action would be. One the day of the surgery she again explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. She left me calm and ready. I felt absolutely no pain as they used a nerve block and then managed the pain once the anesthesia wore off. She called my home the next day to see how I was doing and to fully explain what she found and what she did once inside my shoulder. On follow-up, she was thorough and friendly. I would definitely use her again, but I hope not to!

So I was referred to Dr. Friedberg for hip pain. I was able to get in fairly quickly which was great. He was very nice and very thorough. The one problem  I have is that I has some questions/issues after my appointment and called the office to ask if Dr. F could call me back. I had left a few messages and it took over 3 days to get a call back. Working the the healthcare industry, I think that is poor patient care. It is a shame because I really liked his bed side manner and he was very good about telling me what he thought might be wrong and explained everything. I just need to be able to communicate with my doctor.

I will not use them again. I had used them for ten years, but won't ever do it again.

Physician's asst. didn't know how to wrap ankle for sprain. Before that, she tried to sell me a brace that was too large (as they were out of the smaller size that fits).
