Marian V Hershenson Landscape Design

She returned my call promptly and came at a moments notice and on a Sunday as I said we really needed help ASAP. She was supposed to come for an hour and was actually here for much longer. She was great at understanding our needs and giving us suggestions that filled our needs. She was very to the point and gave suggestions that would be doable. My only observation is that I wish she had followed up with a short written recap of her suggestions. I would definately work with her again.

Marian's greatest gift was to really listen to and work with elements and features that we liked and wanted to incorporate into our landscape. At the same time, she has a wealth of professional experience to draw upon, in residential as well as municipal applications, which helped in addressing the more technical elements of the planning (drainage, soil, climactic conditions, etc.). Marian is truly an artisan and does not adopt a 'cookie-cutter' approach to landscape design. While she will take positions on which elements may work better for certain conditions, she was more than willing to work around whatever particular design elements we felt we really wanted. All in all, working with Marian was a very rewarding experience, and I feel a particular pride in our yard that not only looks great, but in which I was able to participate and learn much in the process.

They were creative, wonderful to work with and they came in at budget. They were on time and everything came out perfectly. They were very keen on pleasing me. Their advice was first class and they showed me how to save money. They showed me a better way that was more cost effective.
