Inside Design serves homeowners in Brookline and the surrounding communities. We specialize in residential and light commercial projects. Inside Design offers personalized service, attention to detail and a commitment to completing projects on time and within budget. Billing is based on an hourly flat-rate and invoices are sent on a monthly basis. We consistently enlist the services of local tradespersons and workrooms.

Inside Design offers affordable design solutions for renovations, lighting and construction. We provide furniture repair and restoration services both onsite and offsite in our shop., millwork, room reconfigurations and color and material selections. We work with families and homeowners to transition rooms and play spaces as family members grow and needs change. We use AutoCAD software for schematic drawings for design concepts

Jeremy is a perfectionist, and like usual, he did everything he said he'd do -- and more. When the doorknob wasn't working properly, he actually took the doorknob with him, fixed it at his home shop, and returned with it within an hour. And while he was here, he helped hang up some pictures, putting the pictures in frames and making sure he put them in just the right place.
I can't say enough good things about Jeremy. He has a keen sense of design, but he's a lot more than a designer. He has so many woodworking and handyman skills that he not only designs a room, but also can help put most of it together.
This eliminates the need to hire a lot of extra workmen. It also gives you the confidence that you won't have workmen coming in to fix things and mess up the design of a room.
When I was renovating my hall bathroom, he did a lot more than come up with a great design and find fixtures that suited my style. When the cabinet doors I'd purchased seemed too heavy, I thought I'd just have to live with them. But then Jeremy said he could make some lighter ones. He made them in his home shop at an incredibly reasonable price, and then installed them.
And when I was renovating my home office and bought a new desk, he realized that when I opened my file cabinets, they would bump into the desk. So, he came up with the ingenious idea of raising the cabinets four inches off the ground. He then went to Home Depot, chose the appropriate wood to build a base to put the cabinets on. Then, he proceeded to paint it black to match the cabinets -- even helping me empty my file cabinets when it was clear that they were too heavy to be lifted.
AND he cleans up any mess he makes.
He's a real pleasure to work with, which is why I've hired him many times over the years.
