He seemed very professional and knowledgeable. Took his time and didn't rush. Our babysitter who plays the piano says it sounds "much better".

Boaz, the RPT, arrived punctually, carefully assessed the piano, and pointed out the cost of repair vs the value of the instrument. It was not in our favor. He kindly described it as a nice piano-like object in the living room. Boaz suggested helpful options to consider if we decide to replace our piano. We were impressed with his personable knowledge and professionalism.

Excellent. Fred has been tuning our Steinway N{B for years - doing special repairs when needed.

He immediately dove right in and told me what was good and not so good about my piano and explained everything as he did it.  He was professions and courteous and patient with my curious 3 young children as they asked him a few questions about the workings of the piano.  They, nor I, had ever seen it taken apart so quickly like that!  It was a nice little learning lesson.

The piano sounds so much better than it did.  We are very happy with Fred's work.

Fred is a real pro....knows his instrument....and knows the challenges of each brand.  He arrives promptly...is thoughtful, careful, and generous with good advice on maintenance & care.  Best of all - the sound after tuning is superb!

Angela was very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and patient.  She went above and beyond to find out what was causing my piano to make a clicking noise.  She raised the hammer heights of each and every key to remedy the problem. Did a full tuning of the piano as well.  She was late because the secretary had overbooked her day, but she did call to let us know in advance.  Overall we were very pleased.  We will request Angela again for future tunings/repairs.

Angela was most helpful and took a lot of time to explain why the tuning was not at the level she wanted. Apparently, the wood at a point has become weak and so tuning is not holding up.

There were some issues during the service and the owner called back the following day and offered ways to have the issues resolved, which I'm satisfied with. Overall I am happy with the service, particularly with the owners' attitude, and would use it again.

Because it had been awhile (years) since it's last tuning it needed some extra attention, and the cost was a bit higher. I think the usual fee is $125. My only issue was that the technician, (not Fred), made fun of the condition of my piano since it was so badly out of tune. It made me feel uncomfortable and I found myself defending my piano, to the man I hired to tune it. Although it turned out OK and I was ultimately pleased with the service, I felt that the technician should have been a bit more professional. Next time I will request Fred.

Service was great. The technician was actually 10 minutes early to the appointment. He was very professional and had the piano tuned in slightly over an hour, despite having been in storage for a year and half. I would definitely use them again.

Fred is the best piano tuner I've ever had work on my Yamaha Grand. We moved here from the west coast in 09, the piano sat in storage for a year, and Fred has brought it back to life. The voicing is beautiful. Fred's knowledge of the piano and it's presumed history (based on the serial number) was also very impressive. Very nice guy, you'll feel like you are his most important client. Also, the woman at his office was bright and friendly. This is what a small family business should be.

I called and made appointment for the following week. Fred arrived on time and tuned my aging and neglected Wurlitzer studio piano. Knows his stuff. Did a great job. Will use again.

It went great. The technician arrived right on time, assessed the instrument, and tuned it. I was anticipating that the piano would need a double tuning, but it did not. The instrument sounds just fine. The office staff was very helpful with scheduling and provided a reminder call the day before the tuning.

Diagnosis was that the piano needs to be restrung and refurbished; thus the tuning could not restore the desired sounds. The technician first felt that there was not much that he could do. I insisted that he should try. After the tuning the sound was improved enough for the use of the piano until I decide to embark upon refurbishing it entirely.

Alan came out and was great. He was very helpful and he recommended some work that needs to be done in the future. He also recommended services but said it was not necessary to do them at this time.

Came on time, as scheduled. Tuning wasn't perfect, but this may certainly be due to the limited quality of our piano. Very fair price.
