This company is a RIP OFF and charge outrageous prices just because they can! I was forced to use this company because of condo rules. I originally wanted to only replace the bath tub spout (as it was old and has an occasional drip) and the old rusted drain plate. I bought the parts but they wouldn't let me use my own parts and charged me 3 hours of work plus 1 hour of water shutdown time because of the condo process. The work only took 1 hour and they were gone in less than 2 hours. What should have costs less than $200 became a $880 work! When I complain to Mr. Doran, he took two weeks to get back to me after multiple attempts to reach him and he wouldn't refund any of the costs. A major RIP OFF company and on top of that an unprofessional customer service attitude! Avoid this company at all costs!!!

I made an emergency call to plumber after discovering that the upstairs shower was partially frozen and no hot water was coming out of the shower head or bath faucet. This particular contractor was recommended by my condo association and as it was an emergency and they were on the list of recommended contractors I called them. My first question to the contractor was "What is your rate?". Instead of giving me the rate he told me that he would bill the condo association and that I should not have to pay as the problem was caused from cold air coming outside of the unit. I accepted that answer and the contractor told me the plumbers would arrive within the hour, which they did. The plumbers had to troubleshoot to determine if it was actually a frozen pipe, they thought for some reason, it might be a bad valve (even though it was one of the coldest days of the year) however they determined it was a frozen pipe. The plumbers defrosted pipe using my blow dryer after having to cut holes in the wall board of the adjacent room next to the shower. The plumbers left and I did not receive an estimate of the cost of the job or a rate. Doran Mechanical then billed the condo association for $630.28 which my condo association paid and then back billed to me as it they felt it was an individual owner problem. The bill was broken down as follows: 2 men 4 hours $456.00 and "stock" 164.28 and T.C. $10.00. The bill did not list what the "stock" was and the plumbers did not have to replace any pipe or anything else for that matter. I disputed the charges with my condo association and paid for the work but not the "Stock" or "T.C." charge. I felt that the mystery "stock" charges were questionable to say the least.

They're expensive but very good and very prompt. We had a leaky water safety valve on our hot water heater. They came in within an hour and fixed it right away.

THEY DID POOR WORK, THEY CHARGE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES, AND IVE HAD TO CALL THEM BACK FOR THE SAME PROBLEM ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.
