The clock continued to work for about three months, and then stopped for good.

I called to see if there was any place to park by the establishment.  I was told to park right out in front that they had a loading zone for that purpose.
The owner was very friendly; he told me the clock would be ready in a few days.  He gave me an estimate of $35.00 to $50.00 for the repair.  We talked for a few minutes; he had been in business a long time.  This was a new location.
I received a call the very same day telling me the clock was ready.  "It was a easy fix".
I could not pick up that day.  I went a few days later and picked up the clock.  I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience.

Baystate came back many times with fine adjustments on our large grandfather clock. Now they didn't charge us for that either. John was who we dealt with directly. We were fully satisfied and would surely use them again. We were really quite pleased with them.

I called the clock store Dec. 27th; I felt that I had been patient more than enough. I asked if my clock was ready. I was told it was. I was also asked why I waited so long. I explained I had been treated rudely last time I called (May) & decided to wait what I thought was enough. I got a very insincere apology & a denial that I was treated this way. I made an appointment at my insistence to get clock back Jan 4th between 1-3 pm. I said thank you & hung up. I was told that I would receive a call back to tell me the cost. I got a very paranoid message message from John telling me that he called my father 4 times & was hung up on each time and that he was not willing to go into a hostile situation. I called him back where he vehemently insisted that I was never spoken to rudely. I told him that this had gone too far, & we needed to get the clock back and be done with this. My father was not home when he called. The answering machine had hung up on him; it's not functioning correctly.

THEY WERE PLEASANT; THE CLOCK IS WORKING FINE 10 MONTHS LATER. HOWEVER, IT TOOK ABOUT 4 MONTHS FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS QUITE LONG, BUT SINCE I WAS IN NO PARTICULAR HURRY, I DIDN'T REALLY MIND.
