I hired an independent electrician recently. He was referred to me through a friend of mine who is a general contractor. I know he had an electrical contracting company for many years. He now runs the electrical department for one of the home depot stores. He does electrical work on the side of freelancing. I found the best of electrician I have ever hired, he found code violations above what the previous electrician had done was just ridiculous. I would highly recommend him, I was actually to go on and put a recommendation for him. Nothing that I disliked, he is an outstanding guy all round. He is very fair and honest. I actually had bought some of the plugs myself and he just basically came and did the installation. But having him do the install he found some wiring had been basically not coded, they were just going into the circuit box and could have caused fire. There was no extra cost involved to do that. I am going to use them in a couple of weeks.
Description of Work: I used Robert Wilbur Electric Co about a month ago. He installed the transfer switch and out door plug for that transfer switch for a portable generator which is the backup power for my home.
