The flooring took forever to schedule, however, eventually our wood came in stock and they did a fairly decent install in a short amount of time. The negative rating from me comes from paying the company up front for the entire job, even though our stairs were to be done the following spring so that we could open up the windows to avoid the fumes. You see, contacting this company from the beginning was next to impossible. We paid over 5,000.00 for the entire job and supplies up front. Yet we needed to hound the owner for months to have our floors installed and the stairs were a nightmare we endured for 2 years! Nobody returned phone calls, the owners and managers were never around if we went to the business, and just when we thought the guy who was to sand and repair/stain our stairs was all set, he never showed up. He lived in VT and they had nobody else to do the job! We needed to take them to small claims court to have them refund our money for the stairs. They refused to refund our money when we asked for it (over 800.00). They lost and paid us what was owed, however, no consumer should need to worry about going through h*** like this. When a person hires someone for a job, they expect that job to be completed without a hitch. In a word, Nightmare is how I would describe our experience. Find a different installation company.
