Sean completely dismantled my dryer, then vacuumed and cleaned every part, After he removed the drum to access the motor, he showed me several charred bits of lint that had obviously gotten hot enough to burn, but fortunately died out without starting a fire. (I read that 50% of house fires are caused by dryers!) After cleaning all the dryer parts, plus the hose, he installed a new vent (the old one was so brittle that it broker), and put everything back together just as it was?except cleaner! I was very satisfied with Sean's work. Every time I use my dryer, I am happy to see how clean it is, and how safe I feel.

Competent, professional, helpful

I called the Dryer Clean service because my new dryer was not getting the clothes dry. (The old dryer had been working well but  when it was removed for the installation of the new one - which became necessary because the attached washer was broken -  I discovered that the vent hose was loose and the old dryer had been venting into the laundry closet.) With some difficulty Sean examined the external opening of the second floor dryer vent and found that the damper had been improperly installed and was not opening to allow escape of the lint during drying. He fashioned a tool and managed to dislodge the damper and the dryer has been performing well since.



He explained that he was handy at other household repairs so, with a little help from my husband, he adjusted the position of the stacked washer and dryer and re-installed the folding door of the laundry closet, which had been removed during the installation of the new washer and dryer. He also adjusted a stuck garbage disposal and got it working again.



Sean is pleasant and appears to enjoy his work and the interaction with the customer.

I purchased the Dryer Clean Out Big Deal for $99.  It took a while for Sean and I to get our schedules in sync.  He seems very busy with this business.  He was prompt, called before arriving.  He was clean and meticuless with this work.  As I mentioned, and cleaned out a bunch of trapped lint that was hurting the performance of our dryer.  He also replaced the accordion vent (extra $35 parts and labor) that was not installed correctly.  He also recommended that I replace the rubber hoses on our washing machines with nylon shielded hoses.  Finally he cleaned out and  fixed the outside vent of the dryer.  I am very happy with the results.

I was very pleased and satisfied with the job that Sean performed.  Not only did he perform the work he promised, but also he had recommendations/advice for continuing to keep the appliances free from dust and working properly.  Sean went above and beyond what I expected in that he shoed me the correct way to remove lint from the dryer, and removed the excess venting we had so the dryer would perform efficiently.
I have already scheduled an appointment for next year with Sean to perform the same work, and I would recommend Sean to anyone needing maintenance on appliances.

It went very well. In my case they had trouble with the drier vent and it wasn’t their fault. The drier vent was designed outside. It was a big deal purchase. 

Sean came on time and was very friendly. Discussed my problem as he cleaned.

Exceeded expectations

Sean showed up as scheduled.  He took the whole dryer apart dryer and cleared the vent, taking his time and explaining what he was doing and giving suggestions on using the dryer and safety tips.  As part of the Angie's List coupon, he changed the light bulb in the oven and worked on the warming tray which hadn't been usable for a long time.  He needed to replace the thermal fuse which had to ordered. He also took a look at the icemaker in the fridge which only gives shaved ice when cubes are needed.  We decided it wasn't worth the trouble but at least he tried.  He returned two weeks later and replaced the fuse.  Very neat and precise work.  Worth the money.

Cleaning went well.  Was unable to pinpoint problem issues with refrig but referred someone who could.

I have to say, I was very impressed with the job Sean did with my dryer. He completely dismantled the entire driver, vacuumed and wiped it down inside and out. He closely inspected the band that turns the drum for any cracks or weaknesses. He then went outside and cleaned out the vent and hose of any lint or debris. Once he finished with all that, he reassembled the dryer and turned it on to make certain it was running smoothly and heating as it should. All of this for the great value of $99.00. He also then went upstairs and offered to check out one other major appliance. I picked the stove and he tried to get the covers off the inside lights but they were just about fused on in place. He worked at it for a good half hour. He ended p calling a friend who was an appliance fellow and asked for help. Sadly, the lights were not changed but he asked the friend to make a visit to see if he could get them replaced. I appreciated his service and his pleasant manner. He had no problem with me sitting right there watching the entire dryer clean out! I have had the dryer at this house and my other house cleaned out in the past it no one ever did the job as thoroughly as this fellow. It is well worth the money to get your dryer cleaned of lint and fire causing debris.

Sean was punctual, professional and knew his business. He arrived and went straight to work which I apreciated. I am obsessive about cleaning the lint trap but because my dryer is part of a stackable unit I am unable to get deep into the venting system. Also, I never knew the panel should be removed and dusted !  Additionally, my vent to the outside is vented beneath the dryer into the basement and follows the piping to under the back porch. It's an absurd set up but that's how it was built.  Sean crawled under my porch which has never been cleaned out because it's protected by latticework and it was raining to make it worse for him, and he cleaned out the vent termination area where the is a flap which was rusted and jammed with leaves and debris. Of course, like everything else in this development the Home Owner's Association maintains nothing and we are fortunate that we've never had a fire under there.

There was one tiny issue with the reattachment of the panel and he came back to Brighton from Brocton, to make it right. 

I will used Dryer Clean Out Services again (and again).

We contracted with Sean when we saw a coupon on a website.
He arrived on time and was very thorough in his analysis of the situation.
In addition to the long overdue clean out, he suggested we replace our kinked hose.
He actually went out and purchased it and came back and completed the repair even though it was quite late in the day.
I would recommend him without hesitation and plan to have him come back again annually.
