Derrill Mendes is the man behind Down to Earth Landscaping-Brockton.  He is professional, punctual, detail oriented.  He is responsive to complaints and concerns.  He was doing work for our neighbor and they recommended his to us.  The first job he did for us was to rebuild our patio.  We tried working with another landscaper but that company kept making excuses and would not provide us with an estimate.  In our early discussions, Derrill mentioned that he had never done a patio before but he would be willing to give a try.  Derrill outreached to other landscape professionals that he had relationships with and learned what he needed to do in order to build a quality patio.  He provided us with an written estimate and we moved ahead with the project.  When he put his crew together, he also hired an individual he knew that worked with another landscape company who had experience building many patios.  Derrill and his crew took several days to tear up the old patio and install the new one.  The result was a beautiful new patio and a complete transformation of our back yard.  We also had a gravel pad where we had an above ground pool.  He loamed the back yard and seeded it and now we have a nice lawn out back.  We had river stone around the pool.  Derrill was able to recycle the stone by using as edging around the new patio and along the side of our driveway.  We decided to keep Derrill on to do our weekly lawn mowing and yard maintenance which he does an excellent job at.  He also did our fall yard cleanup and just recently our spring yard cleanup.  Derrill and his crew also did our winter snowplowing and shoveling out of our walkways which came in handy this very snowy winter.  We see Derrill and his crew more and more around our neighborhood as he picks up more customers.  He does a great job!
