He gave me some simple trouble shooting advice over the phone to try and avoid a $150 service call for a simple homeowner fix.
Since I had heat flowing to other parts of the house, he told me to switch out my electronic thermostats from the room which was working to the room where it wasn't working. The thermostats were fine. He suggested a service call.
On the 13th, he showed up a little late but called about 2hours ahed of the scheduled time to let me know that someone called him for an emergency no heat call and that he would be about 1 hour late for my appointment.
When he arrived he was very kind and apologetic for the lateness, I told him it was alright, it's single digit temps and no heat in the house is an emergency.
Paul immediately diagnosed my problem, frozen pipes due to lack of insulation.
Paul thawed the pex pipes, and in less than 10 minutes my system was working as it should. I then purchased some insulation and fixed the problem. Needless to say the $150 service call fee was significantly cheaper than replacement of my boiler or it's associated parts.

The nature of our house is very long and putting a central air unit was very expensive but these two mini splits are doing the job very well and the it a fraction of the cost. The price at the end of the work was still the price. He did an excellent job in installing them . The two units look excellent in term to their professional installation. They both function like he explain they would function.
