Great team, excellent work

HWP is my go-to for projects large and small. Zania is wonderful at project planning and provides great communication. Francisco and his team do wonderful work--always walking you through the finished job, and going over any question you might have. They have my complete trust and confidence, and I plan to use them for future jobs at my single family home.

They did an outstanding job in a timely, efficient manner and were flexible when the town's historical commission insisted on changes. The management and crew were professional and personable and communication was excellent. I would hire them again and recommend them.

HWP Construction is not an interior company, their work on this job was horrible and irresponsible. A supervisor had his painter paint the wrong shade color and, when this was proven, not only did they pretend to not know about it (when the painter himself confessed) but HWP refused to redress their sloppy work. I would NEVER hire this company for work on the inside of any home as they are untrustworthy.

It was excellent, they have been working for me for a year now, the communication was excellent, they did a good job in cleaning and I am happy with the service.

We would like to add to our last statement about one of there employee of Hwp Construction.. Silvanis she is a very good and hard worker and very helpful. She even have took my dry up flowers from my wedding tied a bow on it and put it in the vase that was very sweet of her my husband and I was very impress and thankful. We did not asked her nor she did not have to do it but she went out of her way to do it any way. We wish we can have her every two weeks (Dam we wish she can clean every week!!) but our finances would not aloud it We would recommend her to any one that need their house clean!

From the moment I requested a quote Zana and the folks at HWP were highly responsive. From the first phone call, within 2-3 days, the carpenter, Ivo, stopped by as arranged to look over the project. Ivo walked through what we wanted, asked great questions, and advised he would have a quote in a few days. By the next day we had the quote in hand! HWP folks were patient while we researched other contractors. We selected HWP for an excellent price teamed with timely responses. We made the right choice. Work started within a few days and the project was underway without a hitch. Upon completing the demo of the old porch Ivo let us know he needed additional supplies for unforeseen conditions related to the structural supports. We appreciated being kept up-to-date on additional costs and gave him the ok to proceed. The work area was kept clean; the workmanship was exceptional; Ivo could not have been more pleasant and professional. The finished porch and stairs met every expectation so much so that we decided to have Ivo paint the porch as well. Again an excellent job. We highly recommend HWP and will keep them in mind for our next projects!

Excellent. We have used HWP on multiple projects since 2012. Everything from demoing and installing new decks on a 3 family to remodeling a rental unit to finishing the renovation of a single family home. Skilled and honest contractors with great customer service. Highly recommend.

HWP Construction was very organized and communicative. I talked to a live person the same day I was referred! Within 24 hours someone was at my house to look at the job and give an estimate. The work started the same week! Throughout the work process, the office was in touch with me to see how things were going on site and whether I was satisfied with everything. The work crew was very professional, polite, and worked efficiently. The job was finished within three days, and everything was fine.

It went really really well. The whole process was very smooth and efficient! We requested deep clean of our house before getting the house listed for sale. The team was very responsive and communicative. They did a wonderful job and made our house look so nice and clean. We will definitely hire the team again for our new place in the future! First of all we moved in this apartment before the corona virus started The landlord promised to have the apartment clean before we moved in but he did not so we was really upset with him! When the city was in locked down the apartment went down hill from there I got very depressed (I was not able to clean because of my disability) We looked for different house cleaning company and we found HWP Construction in Angie’s List After back and forth with the schedule we agree with a time and date for them to come and clean, they came and did more then a good job but they did a fantastic job! You would not believe it was the same lousy depressing place! They did ask for more money but it was well worth it this place was pretty bad! real bad! The second time they came back it looked even better! Thank to Zana and her crew I am no longer depress and look very much forward to decorating my place. We greatly recommend HWP Construction they are a very professional company which me and my husband is very happy with!

HWP Construction honestly gave my home and its environment a new life through carefully planned, extensive construction of a high tech composite deck, and a full exterior rework and painting. I am someone who knows "a little" about contractor relationships and I can honestly say that dealing with HWP has been the most positive contractual relationship I have made. I will hire them again and again. They are simply that good in both quality of work, quality of human beings, and price.

I ran a large contracting business for many years so can be a bit picky and demanding. This project was quite challenging, but was done by HWP efficiently, cost-effectively, and in a very high quality manner. We worked primarily with Zana, who does most of the administrative work. Her husband, Francisco, sets up the work and heads up the crews. He was not always at our project, since I assume they may often have more than one going at a time, but that was never a problem. He was there whenever needed or requested. Our home is not small, was built in 1843, and although much has been replaced over the years, nothing is plumb or square. The window trim, some sills, and parts of the jambs were rotten, as were many of the corner boards of the house itself. We needed to remove the old wood and replace it with new. Zana and Francisco visited the home, reviewed the work, and gave us two proposals. One was an hourly rate for the carpentry work and the other was a fixed price for the painting of the entire house and trim. Both prices were very fair. They could not give us a fixed price on the carpentry work because we could not see what hidden work might be required or what we might discover. They did give us a "guesstimate" on how long the work might take, from which I could calculate a budget, and it turned out to be reasonably accurate. Much of the work required removal of rotten wood and trimming and shaping of the adjoining pieces. They made sure any gaps were filled and caulked. They also did a great job identifying areas we had not noticed and giving us options to replace entire areas, or just portions. For painting, everything was pressure-washed before the work began; many of our downspouts were removed to allow access to tight spots; and new wood received a primer and two coats. HWP worked around our schedule, which got pushed back a bit early on, and always showed up when they said they would. We had a crew that varied from two people to four. HWP is not a big company, but they are attentive and meticulous. I would definitely use them again!

A pleasure to work with. Great with communications and very professional work. They also tackled a hard-to-reach repair way up near a very high roofline, at a very reasonable cost.

It was good. It was a unique scenario because I had a family emergency that kept me away from the project for six weeks and they did a good job and keep me in the loop on every step. They did good work and there were no surprises.

This was an excellent experience. Zana and the team were very knowledgable about the work that needed to be done and the associated code requirements. The estimate was fair and the work was very professional. They also warranty their work, and are very responsive if there is a question or possible issue later. Our porch is visibly the best one on our townhouse unit. We were very pleased and would happily hire them again.

My wife and I had recently purchase an investment property and needed jobs completed for insurance purposes. Since I do not work close to the home my wife was handling most of transaction and she had a few people come out to give quotes but never heard from them again, we do not know if this was due to the fact that it was a small job or if it was my wife. However, Zana came out, gave a quote, was extremely professional and even gave a few ideas to save some money. We are actually in talks to use HWP again for additional remodeling. Could not have been happier with their work.

Awesome. First of all, they are lovely, honest, smart people. And every subcontractor they use is just like them. They treat your home like it's theirs, so careful and respectful. Most importantly, the technical work is excellent, and they are willing to come back as often as they need to in order to correct, alter, and improve. Here and there, the communication was inconsistent--mixed messages on dates, and misunderstandings about this or that detail. That's the only reason for the two Bs. But overall I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them.
