We needed the outside of our house painted. In addition we needed some carpentry work done. We were extremely pleased with the work done on our house. The crew arrived as planned and worked carefully to complete the job. They cleaned up well after themselves and left the site immaculate. As is often the case when painting a house, there was some additional rotting wood that needed to be replaced. Although not part of the original quote, H&M did a great job and was very reasonably priced. We have used them for many years and will continue to use them in the future.

It went amazingly. They were expedient, detail oriented, responsive, and willing to do whatever they could to help. The paint job looks absolutely fantastic and very well done. We also asked them to install a few lights and they agreed to - for a very reasonable price! They were quick to respond to inquiries and were able to start work the next day. They also installed a doorknob for us without us even asking. A very conscientious team that puts 110% into their work. Was an absolutely pleasure to hire them and will work with them again. Thank you!

H M did a great job as always. This is the third time we’ve used them. We learned about them from my in laws. Sandra and Paolo are lovely and do a very careful prep including window putty and loose board nailing as needed, power washing, and sanding as needed and paint job, including primer and two layers of Benjamin Moore paint. Their pricing is very good and they were pleasant to have around. Can’t say enough good things.

I highly recommend H and M painting. This is the 2nd time I hired them. They offer fair prices, do the work on time and do all the work by hand for the best quality. They also did a good job on the carpentry to fix the rotted wood around windows and gutters.

This company painted our house in 2006 so when we wanted to paint our house again, we called them. The estimate was only a bit higher than the price we paid in 2006. They were flexible with our schedule in terms of the start date but when we finally set a date, they showed up on time. The foreman on the job, Lima, was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive to our concerns and was patient and pleasant with our indecision about the trim color. During the job, we changed the trim color twice and while we did pay extra for it, the charge was very reasonable. During the painting job, my husband was working to replace the floorboards on the front porch. The project took longer than expected (naturally!) but they were completely fine with waiting until this was finished to come back and paint them. The quality was excellent and they took great care not to damage foundation plantings as they painted.
The owner, Leo, was not involved in the job day-to-day but responded when we had questions. We will definitely use them again!

About 4 yrs ago had this company paint my house . Pealed 6months later every couple of months more peeled kept calling no one showed up.Understand have had this company paint my house two other times (great job) but someone else was running the company and wish i had known.But a few weeks ago a gentleman called and wanted to make things right (the new owners) .He could see it was a bad job .So the new owners maybe good we will see they are going to paint the house at a big discount to make amends so for the people who ask and called about the paint job i'll be back in touch with you .I still have your #'s

If you are reading this you are doing your homework before you use a painting contractor. H & M painting at one time was exceptional had used them for years great success three years ago used them to paint our house now all the trim paint is peeling off in sheets. It’s down to the wood. Have called them numerous times first time said they would come out and look did not happen called again left a message numerous times no one calls back this is over a year’s worth of calls . So if you are going to use them please look around . We paid a little extra in our price compared to other paint company’s thinking we know there work I quess things do change. Now I have to find a painter myself to do my trim more money spent not happy.

My experience was very positive. We got a visit within a few days of our initial call. Paulo pointed out some wood that was rotting (we had a carpenter fix it before the painting started). The price quoted was very reasonable. H&M comes with a team of 5-6 men,and they work very hard and very efficiently: in our case, one day to prepare the whole house, one day for the first coat, a final day for the second coat. They clean up after themselves just as you would want them to. This is not precision painting -- I can see a few places where lines could have been neater where two colors meet, for example. But if you're not overly fussy and you just want your house painted, they do perfectly good work. I'd use them again for sure. Good price, good people.

Prep work was very conscientious, they showed up on time every day (early in the morning). They spent so much time with the exterior prep work that all the neighbors commented on it and have since called them as well. Pleasant, easy to work with, did an outstanding job. Very neat.

THEY'RE QUICK AND THOROUGH BUT THEY'RE NOT VERY CAREFUL. THEY DON'T CLEAN UP WELL AND THEY DON'T DO DETAIL WORK VERY WELL.
