Contractors working unsafe swing ladders over customers vehicles. When I asked him to move, it told me no and to call the police very rude very unprofessional. Not a nice person.

Pat Duncan quoted the job thoroughly, and was very up front and honest about the needs (and non-needs) and the costs.
He responded quickly, and the job was started and finished promptly. There were some areas on the roof with sun-pipes, needing some work around and detail attention, -this was no problem for Pat and crew.
Overall the job was very smooth, and all debris was cleaned up well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Duncan Inc. and will definitely use again in the future.

Nothing was fixed in the end

The Duncan people were working at a neighbor friend's house and we desperately needed a section of our roof cleared due to water leaking into our soffits. We appreciated that they fit us in with no appointment. They explained there would be a minimum 2-hour charge (3 guys, $50/guy/hour). The men were exceptionally nice, and the work was not easy. I explained that we had a new roof, and they assured me they would be very careful. They seemed very conscientious. We had a slight misunderstanding about the scope of the area that needed clearing, but they quickly remedied things once they understood what we needed. They were very competent and careful, and top rate people as well.

I found them on Angie's List and called them to come out for an estimate. We decided to use them and they dealt with getting the permit. It was a complicated issue but the work crew was friendly and real quiet. They were always on time and there were no communication problems. They did a great job of cleanup. The quote was what we paid.

This company did a good job, and I'd hire them again. They're not the cheapest, and it was tough to get them to commit to a start date, but it's even harder to find a roofer who's willing to do a small job. Once I got them to commit, these guys came exactly when they said they would. When I returned from work, the job was done, as agreed. Most roofers lost interest in the job once I requested a copy of their insurance certificate. (I called over a dozen, including several from the list who claimed to specialize in small jobs!) Duncan Roofing appears completely above board in this respect: they provided insurance certificate (direct from their insurance company, with my name on it) when requested and without protest, and the contractor's license was clean too. Another big plus is that they have an administrative person to handle insurance certificate requests, and work out a time to do the work (since they depend on the weather, they can't always plan ahead).
