It went fine. Tell him what you want, sit back, and they'll do the work. In fact they had to work around me, because I work from home, and our two dogs, and they coordinated their work with another contractor who was doing floors. They left the house liveable each night, did all furniture moving necessary. First rate all around.

It went surprisingly well: the house does not look the same at all. Areas where wall board was irregular or rough were smoothed and all painted areas have a rich, completed look. The painters who worked for the contractor worked hard every day - long days, to get the work done. Since I work from home I was quite able to see their progress and their industriousness. Great crew.
