We are an I.D.E.A accredited local company with over 20 years experience in residential and commercial garage door repair and sales. They came for free estimate. Recommend $300 package. That is higher than what I thought. Since I already took time off. I asked what is the minimum to get my door work. I was told is $235. I chose to do the $300 package. I was surprised he gave me the final bill $435, include a $135 service charge. I complained, they brought it down to $390. The worse part is, a lady called me later, she said I should use someone else next time, which I am definitely will. Avoid this company by all means.

"Unfortunately this is a case of a language barrier. This is why we send out a confirmation email on every service call that describes in detail what is covered and the process in case it was lost in translation over the phone. Then, the technician goes over everything completely with customers before any work is done. The work was very much needed and agreed upon and there is still a lot of work needed.After the customer called and rudely spoke with us we told him that we would no longer do service for him. He then called back after re reading the email and apologized. We stand by our decision to not service this customer in the future.An F for a misunderstanding hurts us and I hope people will take time to understand before placing reviews in haste."

Contacted goodrow about an issue where water is seeping into the garage. The guy from Goodrow replaced the rubber part on the garage door, and literally as soon as he left, it started raining and water was back. Whatever he did failed. Issue is the rubber piece that runs along garage floor needs to be sealed again. I showed him the issue, he said just "seal it yourself". Waste of money. Would not recommend.

"I am sorry for your dissappointment and missunderstanding of the situation.The bottom seal on the garage doors were replaced upon your request to try and seal an off level floor against rain. We did it in a rain storm and of course there will be water on the floor as a result. The wood frame is rotted and leaking as well and my technician must have been refering to that when he suggested to "seal it yourself to save money". This was done on Friday and your review posted by Monday with no calls to us in regards to the situation. We would have double checked for you and made sure you understood. Based on our A rating we hope that others realize that we always do our best to find solutions and make our customers happy, sometimes it take more tha one try depending on the situation-especialy sealing with floors and frames not being perfect. Unfortunately we cannot please everyone nor take care of issues we do not know about or are out of our control. I understand you are unhappy with us and we have put you on our do not service list to prevent any further issues. Thank you."

This was our second time using Jay for a problem with our garage doors. He and his wife are always very responsive, appointments are scheduled quickly, and the work is done very professionally. This time was no exception. The problem was fixed, and while Jay share things to keep in mind for future garage door replacement when our current doors give out, he did not push or try to sell additional services at this visit. This was much appreciated, and makes us likely to consider contacting him when we do need to make purchases. We highly recommend this company!

Jay gave us an estimate which was in line with other companies but included everything like new rails and removing old doors and refuse from the job. He made recommendations for fixing one of the doorways that was uneven and included this and the materials needed in the original price. He ordered the doors. They were ready when he said they would be. He arrived the day he said he would with all the equipment and supplies he needed and replaced the doors, the rails, and the extra trim work we needed in one day. He took away all the old materials and left the garage and driveway fully cleaned up. The doors work perfectly and look wonderful. We are very happy we chose Jay's company for this work and highly recommend him to anyone.

They were prompt in calling back to schedule. Work was done in a timely manner. He looked over both garage doors and although only one wasn't working, pointed out the frayed cable on the other door that could break at any time.

Extremely responsive and wonderful to work with! We told them our door was in very poor condition and they responded with an immediate order. Great system with lifetime warranty on the opener; glad we went with them instead of something like Lowe's. From call to installation took 2 days. Great office staff and technician. Wonderful experience all around.

Extremely satisfied with the quick response and professionalism. They returned my voice message quickly regarding repair to my garage door and set-up an early morning appointment the next morning. The tech called before arriving-- on schedule. The tech inspected my garage door and gave me a complete evaluation of what he determined needed to be done to fix it-- providing a couple of options. I agreed to a complete "tune-up." He went to work then and there. After he completed repairing and giving my garage door its "tune-up," he went through with me all the work and parts replacement he did. He was friendly and professional. The door works beautifully.

In short, I called needing a garage opener installed and on the same day they had an availability. They were clear, courteous and professional over the phone. Flash forward a couple hours later, Pete (PJ) was the technician that came to do the installation. He was knowledgable and thorough with the work and approximately 2.5 hours later - it was "open sesame" time. Shoutout to PJ and the entire team - thanks to you guys I was able to give my parents a much needed gift :)

The sales guys and techs were clearly top-notch. The doors are very high quality and are serving us very well! We actually needed the battery backup (which they insisted on and worked into the base price) when power was taken out by a neighbors tree limb in the storm the first week. Anyway, I can tell your team pays a lot of attention to planning, quality and detail, even when a space is unique or when things don't go according to plan! Lots of compliments from the neighbors too. Will be recommending these guys to the neighbors.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Goodrow Door Solutions. Someone picked up the phone when I called (I didn't have to wait for a call back). An appointment was set for the very next day. The technician, Pete, called letting me know that he'd be arriving in 20 minutes and showed up on time (during the designated time that was scheduled the day before.) Pete quickly diagnosed the problem, was professional in his demeanor and very careful and thorough in his work. His communication skills were excellent. Besides replacing the broken spring, he greased all of the rollers, sprayed with WD40 and replaced and tightened screws. He did the same for the other garage door that wasn't broken. It was a great experience from start to finish. Thank you!!
