chimney repair
+ -1 moreFor an expensive job that we hadn't been anticipating, it went extremely well. Bart was able to juggle projects around and get to us more quickly than we had reason to expect. We were blessed with some beautiful weather days in December and he was able to set up, do the work, and clean up in 4-5 days. The new chimney looks great, blends in with the rest of the home nicely, and so far no leaks.
Description of Work: We had water coming into our upstairs from the chimney. After speaking with several chimney sweeps, roofers, and masons - all of whom offered different solutions, and none of whom could get to us for several months - Bart came along and said that we really needed to take apart the old chimney and rebuild with new bricks and better flashing. It wasn't what we wanted to hear, but we trusted his judgement and went ahead with the project.
