They showed me that the burner box had corroded and the furnace was dangerous. They replaced the furnace on a timely basis and left the place clean and in order. The new furnace saves enough in heating bills to justify the cost and the house is much more comfortable in the winter. They didn't oversell. Although the old A/C is beyond its useful life, it works and had plenty of freon, so he recommended leaving it until I needed it.

First, I was referred to Eric by my sister, who had hired his company to install and air conditioner. I called him about my air conditioner, but when they saw my furnace they disabled it and told me it wasn't safe to operate. A little doubtful, the tech showed me the break between the firebox and the air channel that would put me to sleep forever if I used it while there. As it was summer I had time to get bids, but Eric's came in below my expectations, so I agreed. They did the job on time and left the area clean and neat. No extra charges and the furnace works great. I've save a ton of money and the house is much warmer, faster than before. Oh, and he gave my air conditioner a passing grade and advised me to keep the same unit until it gives in.
