Fast and professional

Everything went perfectly, better than expected! He was on time and under budget, under what I thought I was going to have to pay. He was professional, fast and very effective. My furniture is literally better than new now! He was very helpful and even was thoughtful of the time increments used for payment, keeping us in the loop so we didn’t pay for any extra time. Best handyman experience, highly highly recommend!! The cost may include a tip, I definitely gave him a tip I was so happy

hired Mr. Handyman to put two drawer fronts, handles, and two sets of glides. The first time they came out he looked at the job quickly and said the office didn't schedule enough time. I showed him the drawer glides and said Im not sure if these are right. He said dont worry I will make them fit. We talked about a day he could come out. I believe two weeks later. There was no confirmation of anyone coming. I forgot until I saw the van pull in. He came and showed me their hourly cost. I agreed. He looked at the glides and said they won't work. I paid 108.00 for them and had them a month from the time I ordered them until the time he came back. The company said it was too late to return. If I returned them two weeks earlier I would have been in the time frame to get a refund. He left to go to a hardware store 6 minutes away and came back over an hour later. On my dime. As time was going on Im doing a rough estimate in my head of the cost and thinking he was on the second drawer. He was not. Now with the clock ticking we are already into this for around 4 1/2 hours. This is one drawer. I told him to stop after he was done with first drawer for fear of what it would cost. He finishes up and hands me a bill for 575.00. One drawer. After he left I went to open the drawer and not only is it slightly crooked the door handle isnt on correctly. He also used cheap 10.00 glides which will fail due to the weight of the silverware. I emailed the office telling them how mad I am about the cost of the drawer and that its wrong. The office sporadically gets back to you. When they said they would fix it I finally agreed and made the appointment. Meanwhile I had another handyman come to do the other drawer. He finished in an hour and a half with sturdy soft close glides. It cost me 160 including glides. I emailed a copy of the receipt with the correct glides. No response. Today before my appointment I emailed confirming he was getting the correct glides before he came. They said they were only coming to fix the cheap glides if needed and fix drawer front and handle. I said I never asked for cheap glides that are not soft close. Also the correct glides are bottom mount. The glides he installed are side mount. Not one drawer has side mount glides. Then the office responded I have to check with the owner but we didn't schedule time for him to replace them. I just told them to cancel. If you responded a few days ago telling me this I wouldn't have spent half a day waiting for someone to come. 575 for installation of one drawer front, glide and handle. $55.00 of which were supplies that I googled and come to around 19.00. 108 I lost because I cannot return the drawer glides I was told would fit. On top of that 4 hours of my morning to find out they had no intention of replacing with the equivalent door glides. Yes people agree to the hourly rate. But NEVER in a million years would I have agreed to that amount of money for one drawer. I also told him to stop when he planned on being there a day which would have been well over 1000 for TWO drawers. They also will not provide receipts of purchases. So their sticking it to you on that also.

Carol was great in getting back to me and answering all ym questions about their company. She clarified anything I asked about so there weren't any surprises during the job and when it came time to pay. Rick was on-time, polite, efficient with his time, professional, and clean! Not only did he do a great job repairing our floor but he cleaned up the area so well tjat my wife didnt feel the need to so a follow up cleaning. Ps, she's picky! Thanks Rick!

The guys from Mr. Handyman went above & beyond their duty to install my sliding glass shower door! The installation instructions from the manufacturer weren’t correct but they went the extra mile and called technical customer service in order to get the job done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr. Handyman ?

We have had Jim & his crew in our home 2-3 different times in the last 3 yrs both bathrooms updated the 1st time and a complete kitchen the 2nd time around and we where more than happy with both jobs the workman ship and all the workers that where involved ,the owner Jim was upfront and followed through with every thing he said ,there where no surprises. And family and friends where impressed ,and we would not only recommend, but will likely call on Jim and his handymen again.

Great, if I messed up earlier, he patched holes birds were making on the outside of our home, did a great job.

Excellent, the employees showed up on time and were great to work with. Jim was great, walking us through what was being done as well as why it needed to be done. Also the office staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

They looked at the site, said they would give me an estimate in a few days. After calling after two weeks I got an estimate that was just a price with no explanation. Got another handyman who itemized everything and was half the price.

John tackled the jobs expertly and efficiently. He left the work areas clean when he finished and checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied with his work. The costs were fair and I will be using the company and specifically John again.

The technicians that came to take care of my projects were fabulous. They were both clearly well experienced in their jobs and asked pertinent questions to ensure we were on the same page. They were friendly, respectful and worked very efficiently. A first class job all around. I am so excited by the results. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone...I already referred my family members. I am already working on my next list of projects...

I've used Angie's list to find other contractors including roofing and masonry. Mr. Handyman is the first that required me to pay for them just to come and provide me with an estimate of the project. I've had nearly 15 contractors provide me estimates through Angie's List and this is the first that wanted me to pay upfront and no work was going to be done. I would stay away from a company like this that's just looking to gauge you for money.

Initially they were very responsive. Very willing to help me with my small job. I sent pictures over of what I needed work done on. Then I was ignored. I emailed to make sure they got the pictures, and got a short response. Then no response again. I told them the job was time sensitive because we were selling the house. No response. I understand the job was small, but I would have rather been told no, then left hanging wondering if they'd get to me. My first contact with them was the beginning of May. It's now June and I've heard nothing. Not even a "sorry, we are backed up", or "sorry, we have bigger jobs in front of you". I can't comment on the actual work they do, but my experience with their customer service was not so good

They came the next day for an estimate and the work started ahead of schedule! They also left the site clean and orderly. I will hire them again.

He covered the furniture, repaired the ceiling, and also repaired a latch on the patio door. He also replaced 2 lights in the ceiling. Everything he did was very well done. He cleaned up very well afterwards and he did more than I thought he would be able to do.

I live in a condo converted from a school building built in the 1930s. The windows are more like commercial windows than normal residential ones, are made of metal are 9 feet tall with sashes roughly 4' wide by 3' tall, all of which would not remain open or could not be opened. I could not find any window specialists interested in making the repair, and replacement was not an option. As a last resort I contacted Mr Handyman based on their Angie's list rating. A technician came out looked at the windows, determined the appropriate parts (4 balances per sash) and provided an estimate. The job went pretty much as promised. The size and weight of the windows required 2 technicians for a bit more than 2 hours as estimated. Due to the unusual nature of these windows, it took a while for them to figure out exactly how to perform the install, and the first window took about an hour to complete. The remaining 3 windows went more quickly. The $700 included the original consultation fee of $140 and the parts and labor for the actual repair. So a bit pricey, but about what I expected and worth it to have operating windows.

There were two workers and they were very nice.

It went well. The doors no longer stick and I can get them open.
