MONTVILLE DOOR CO

We called him on Monday morning and left a message. He returned our call in the late afternoon and asked if we could wait until Friday since he would be in the area. He came Friday morning 10 minutes early and had the spring repaired within 1/2 hour. We did ask his opinion about a new door and he left us some information, but did not try to sell us one on the spot, instead suggested we fix the spring on the old door and think about the new one.

After an initial consult, Jim arrived right on time to do the work. He first got the garage door working like a charm. It's perfectly balanced, and super smooth. You can lift it with a finger. After that, he installed a new 1/2 horse liftmaster opener. It also works very well. Our house was built in 1900, and I think the garage may be that old as well. The door is definitely very old, and I was glad he was able to make the old door work this well, and never tried to sell a new door or anything like that.

JIM DID A TERRIFIC JOB IN REPLACING THE DOOR. THE DOOR WORKS PERFECTLY. THE FIT AND FINISH OF THE DOOR AND WEATHERSTRIPPING COULDN'T BE BETTER. HE IS BUSY, BUT IS GOOD AT RETURNING CALLS AND SHOWS UP WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL. I'VE ALREADY REFERRED HIM TO OTHERS WHO HAVE ALSO BEEN HAPPY WITH HIS WORK AND PRICE. HE'S VERY PERSONABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I'D DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN.
