HEALTHY HOMES CLEANING

Daniella has been doing biweekly cleanings for us for several months now. She is punctual, polite, personable, and trustworthy. As advertised, HHC uses green products for their cleaning - they bring their own supplies. Daniella lets us know if she encounters problems (for example, if a sink is not draining properly). This company charges more than most cleaning companies; but they use non-toxic products and provide a reliable service. On the rare occasions when we have to negotiate a change to our regular biweekly cleaning schedule, both Daniella and Melissa (the owner) have been very accommodating.

I cancelled permanently. The head maid left her scarf at my house. I called her repeated every 2-3 months for 6 months. She said she would drop by to get it. I left it on my back porch but to no avail. I then donated it to Vietnam Vets.

Overall, the experience was terrible. Not only did the company cancel at the last moment or not show, but many of the cleanings were unsatisfactory and the company still charged us full price for some of those unsatisfactory cleanings or in other cases offered only a partial refund.

We've politely raised concerns several times and were patient as the company owner slowly tried to resolve the issues, but often we had to follow up with the owner several times in order to get a response. Most of the time, when we did get a response, excuses about all the things going on in the owner's or the employees' personal lives were made (e.g. illness and doctor appointments, trouble at school with a child, car problems, etc.). As clients, we depended on the company for a service that the company did not reliably provide. While we understood that a crisis might arise occasionally (resulting in an unexpected cancellation or late service), it was far more often than occasional with this company.

Most fundamentally, (1) communications were disrespectful and rude,  as though our expectation that the company would courteously and correctly provide the service we were paying them for was an imposition and (2) the services that were provided  were unsatisfactory.

Stay clear of this company.

I would rate them an "F" overall. Just before Christmas the cleaning woman never showed up, didn't call. So we did the cleaning. It became very clear that this woman was not doing her job with all the dust and cobwebs that were found.

They do a good job with very little hassle. We appreciate that all products used are environmentally friendly. This company is pet-friendly. Melissa, the owner is responsive and has accommodated special requests, such as a change in the day of the cleaning, cheerfully and easily.

The cleaners were prompt and courteous. They had to work around us because we were home and were quiet enough that the baby was able to take a nap while they were cleaning. Picking up toys and doing the laundry were not part of the contracted service, but they volunteered it anyway. The supervisor came out the day of the cleaning to check on the progress of the job and make sure that we were satisfied. They are willing to use products supplied by the homeowner, but they usually bring the cleaners. They did an absolutely fantastic job and I will definitely be using their service regularly.
