I can't say enough good things about Jeff Richards and the work that he does.  Our bathroom is small and very old (almost 100 years with intermediate random renovations having been done by previous owners), so it was somewhat difficult to find replacement fixtures to fit.  Some had to be custom ordered and he worked his schedule around that with absolutely no complaint.
He's very reasonable and was respectful of our ideas and requests.  I feel that because he actually listened to us, his price was a lot more reflective of the work that we wanted done as opposed to some other contractors who suggested way more high end things that we didn't feel were appropriate for the style of our home, and therefore their prices were a lot higher.
Jeff seems to take great pride in his work and well he should.  All of it was beautiful and meticulous.  I've gotten so many compliments on the bathroom and never thought it could look so good.
He and his subcontractors were also respectful of our home. They  put down plastic and paper on their pathways into the house and cleaned up every day.
I would proudly recommend Custom Design Home Improvement to anyone and Jeff would be the first person I would call for any future work on our home.

The results are great. Not only does the roof look fabulous, but they determined the wrong ridge vent was installed in the old roof and installed the correct one. They were professional, polite, and efficient. The job went very smoothly and quickly. Though my home is a modest one, I felt it got as much attention as an elite home would have. When they were done, the yard was cleaned to perfection. I have numerous flower beds that run next to the house and not a flower petal was damaged! Except for the awesome new roof and skylight - you'd never know anyone had been there. I highly recommend this company for a large or small job. They're a pleasure to deal with and do quality work. The work was done over a year ago and I feel as strongly now as I did then, that this company is dependable, takes pride in their work and truly cares about customer satisfaction.

They stuck to the estimate, really worked well with us to change things as we went along to fit our style and the craftsmanship was excellent. Highly recommended. I think the cost of the job was more than they anticipated, but they were very honorable and did not increase the price. Great job and would definitely use again!

This job FAR exceeded my expectations. I gave Custom Design my architectural plans for a very complicated renovation, and Jeff & his team made the entire project a wonderful experience. My home turned out beautifully! The quality of their work far exceeded any you will find today. Jeff was very accommodating and had the patience of a saint. Price was very fair, I probably still owe him a few bucks. Jeff is class act and a man of impeccable integrity. His crew was fantastic - worked full days (and then some!), super nice guys, trustworthy and very friendly. Great company to hire if you can get them!
