Braintree Locksmith

Locked-out, called Braintree Locksmith.  I chose them because they said they would be at my home in 20 minutes.   After a couple of calls, they finally showed up over 2 hours later.  Smarmy tech told me $150 for the lock-out, $75  for new lock and $50 to key the lock, also wanted to rekey my front door locks for another $100.   Told tech only wanted to get into the house to get my keys, and that I'd take care of getting new lock.   Endured full force sales pitch, kept repeating that I only wanted access into the house.  When door was unlocked, I went into the house and asked how he would like to be paid, check or credit/debit card, was told he would take cash only.   I told him I did have the entire $150 in cash and he replied "that's OK, we can go to the ATM", while he walked into my home uninvited and started looking around the place.   I quickly got him out of the house and headed to the ATM...yes, he followed me there...very creepy.   I handed him the $150.00 in cash and he told me the bill was $169, an extra $19 for the service call.  He argued that he told me he was upfront about the service charge, which he was not.   When I finally got to work, I was passing along my experience to a couple of co-workers, who told me that when they had been locked out, one fairly recently, the cost was less than $100.   Total rip-off, creepy tech, do youself a favor and DO NOT USE.
