We are LICENSED and INSURED professional POISON IVY ERADICATORS covering ALL OF MASSACHUSETTS. We DO NOT offer Lawn Care or Landscaping Services. We are located in MetroWest so have the quickest response to Berlin, Boylston, Bolton, Hudson, Northborough, Marlborough, Southborough, Westborough, West Boylston, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Clinton, Lancaster, Sterling, Hopkinton, and Holliston. We do kill poison ivy in ALL OF MASSACHUSETTS so travel beyond these towns as well. We are affiliated with Coopers Poison Ivy Eradication Service. "No job is too small, so give us a call!"

Services we offer
We permanently eradicate ALL the POISON IVY in the treated area in a two-step process AND guarantee no poison ivy for this and next calendar year. We will return if needed after the 2nd treatment to take care of any that we may have missed on the prior procedures. On occasion, we do some limited removal of dead poison ivy growing on trees or in high trafficked areas. We DO NOT offer yard or lawn care services.

Last summer they sprayed poison ivy. This summer a few plants reappeared. They came out and finished them off.

We had a great experience with Wesley! They were busy (as expected) but we got on the list and were very happy that they were able to get to us and take care of the poison ivy that was encroaching into our backyard. I especially appreciated going on the walkthrough where we identified what was and wasn't poison ivy and created a map of what areas were going to be treated. Wesley is super friendly and knowledgeable. We especially appreciated that he is also a math teacher! There is a guarantee, so we will be covered if we see poison ivy crop up in the spring. We also received some complimentary spraying of some non poisonous invasive non-desirable plants, which is very much appreciated!

My only contact with these people has been by email but it’s always been pleasant and satisfying. They came a good distance up to the North Shore to take care of a very small plot infested with Japanese knotweed. They handle a very dangerous chemical product that no one should handle who doesn’t know how. They’ve been regular over three years (two visits a year) and there is a promise to treat again if any new shoots appear. All that has a price that I considered proper. Only time will tell if the treatment has been truly effective. Unfortunately, if the spores are air-borne from who knows where as seems to be the case, it can still come back again. There’s nothing they or anyone else can do to stop that.

They did a great job. Lots of information was provided and they showed up on time and sprayed multiple times. After a few weeks it was easy to identify the plants dying. Hopefully this spring it does not return.

It went great! The consultation was very thorough; Jim walked around my entire yard and explained each plant we came across. He clearly has a wide range of knowledge and I appreciated the care he took to explain it. He then took his time marking all of the areas that contained poison ivy, and when they came back to spray the plants it was very hands off on my part. They were in contact about when they were coming and when they were on the premises, and also were clear that no action was needed on my part. The cost also includes a guarantee for the treated areas, so that gives me peace of mind when I have small children running around!

I was convinced I had poison ivy all over my backyard which caused me horrible anxiety because I'm extremely allergic to it. One day I decided to called Jim, told him it was going to be a lot of work, he gave me a price and I agreed to anything it would cost. He came to my house to inspect the area, walked around with me for over 1/2 hour and pointed out everything I thought was poison ivy and explained what is actually was. There was not one speck of poison ivy in the backyard. He found a TINY piece in the front, pulled it out for me and went on his way. He knew how freaked out I was about my yard, took the time to explain everything, gave me several things to look out for and made me feel so much better. Such a nice, honest man!!

Multiple treatments were performed exterminating the poison ivy and other plants encroaching on the path. Once the poison ivy and other plants were treated and died a large neighborhood volunteer effort cleared the dead plant material. Before and after pictures are included.

The Poison Ivy Guy came promptly to give me an estimate after I contacted him last summer when our property was overgrown with poison ivy. Once I decided to go ahead, someone came promptly to do the necessary spraying. The poison ivy gradually died off as I was told it would; and, so far, there has not been any sign of any new growth this season.

We had a wonderful experience working with Jim. He sent a great deal of useful information ahead of our appointment and spent a full hour walking through the yard with me pointing out and documenting the areas where poison ivy was present. He is a wealth of knowledge about the ecology of poison ivy - where it grows, where it thrives, how to control it - as well as how to avoid or minimize exposure on clothing and tools. I work in natural resource management and, in our case, the amount of poison ivy was small enough and I gained enough useful information during the initial assessment that I decided to try tackling it myself (as a start). However, if it comes back next spring I won't hesitate to call Jim to finish the job. I've passed along information about this company to others in our neighborhood as well!

Very responsive and excellent service. We had woods surrounding our kids' play area, and it was full of poison ivy. Multiple visits were made to ensure that all of the poison ivy was removed, and we have not had any issues since. Highly recommend.

The previous owner hadn't done a thing, so when we moved into our house there was poison ivy everywhere. Poison Ivy guy came and took care of the problem. End of story.

It went extremely well. Where I was told I had poison ivy I did not. Complete walk of the land and Jim pointed out to me where there was poison ivy and where it looked like I did but it wasn't that nasty plant. I would call The Poison Ivy Guy in a heart beat - he was awesome.

Jim was nothing, but a professional and spent quite a bit of time walking my property and showing areas where poison ivy was growing. He also educated us on the treatment process and was extremely patient answering all our questions. The treatments were done and within a month the poison ivy was gone. Looking forward to a poison ivy free yard in the Spring!
