"Contacted Mark within 3 days he was at my home and providing a detailed quote. Might seem small but he was the only one out of 4 contractors who actually measured the space to provide an accurate and detailed estimate. He while discussing what I wanted with me made many recommendations and even mentioned ways to get the job done but at a lower cost. He had the estimate to me within 2 days and it was super detailed and broken down with 3 different ways to complete it. He was on time daily as was his crew. Work areas were cleaned daily. He closed up a broken window for us, redid a dirt floor with drainage and concrete, repointed and waterproofed our basement foundation, ripped out and fully replaced basement access stairs. He even noticed a window that was broken we didn’t and closed it up for no charge. When the two men arrived my husband showed them a picture of the two angles in the vent. One guy didn't speak english and walked away. Didn't even want to look at the picture. The other guy who spoke limited english just told us to call his boss. We told him his boss had already assured us they could do the job. Now for all the equipment they brought - a generator that they couldn't even get started. We have an outlet out back and told them to use it. They then just put a small hose in the vent which was blowing air. I was in the closet with the dryer and could hear the hose as it came in. It stopped at the first angle and couldn't bend to go any further. They then left. I was also told that they would bag up any lint that came out on the lawn. Big surprise - there wasn't any. My vent is still clogged."
