When we bought our house, the kitchen had only one light in the center of the room.  We called The Carter Corporation to get a price for adding recessed lighting over the countertop areas.  My wife and I have crazy work schedules, but Ken Carter went out of his way to meet with us before we left for work at 6:30 in the morning.  Who does that for a customer?
We got pricing from two other contractors, but went with The Carter Corporation.  They weren't the least expensive, but their knowledge of the various types of lighting is what sold us.  Ken Carter is also a licensed builder, so he was able to explain the ins and outs of adding recessed lighting to an existing ceiling without tearing the whole ceiling down.
The entire job was done in a day and now we have energy-efficient, LED recessed lighting in our kitchen.  What's even better is that they look like they were always there.  We'll definitely be using The Carter Corporation again.

Our house was built in 1943 and had no insulation in the outside walls, so we decided to have insulation blown in.  Much to our surprise, the insulating company would not do the job because we had knob-and-tube wiring.  They told us that this type of wiring creates a fire hazard when it is embedded inside insulation and that we needed to have it removed before the walls could be insulated.
We called The Carter Corporation on recommendation of our friend who was a plumber.  The electricians at The Carter Corporation gave us a great price to remove all of the old wiring from our house and replace it with wiring that met the current codes.  They also added additional outlets to rooms that didn't have enough.  All in all, you could tell that these electricians really knew what they were doing.  They even patched any holes they had to make after they "fished" in new wiring.  Working with The Carter Corporation was a great experience.  When we do our landscape lighting, we will be sure to have them back.

Working with Ken and his team of electricians was an absolute pleasure.  Ken is very knowledgeable, not just with electrical work, but also with general construction, which made the project go a lot more smoothly when issues popped up as they often do with remodeling.  He was able to recommend finish electrical products to go with the style of our kitchen and bathrooms for a very reasonable price.  The Carter Corp was always on time and on schedule.  Ken is also very responsive when it comes to answering phone calls and returning emails.  Overall it was an excellent experience and we couldn't say more about Ken and his team, other than hire them!  You'll be happy you did and we always recommend The Carter Corp to friends and family whenever we have the chance.  Thanks Ken!

We were renovating our kitchen to be more modern, useful and resourceful. Also, we had been talking about putting a ceiling fan in the master bedroom for over a year. We did some research and decided to go with The Carter Corporation because he was the most prompt in returning our calls and was very personable. We decided to add a few more outlets in the kitchen as well as recessed lighting in the ceiling and under the cabinet lighting all around. It looks beautiful and he also had wonderful tips on saving on my electrical bill by using all energy efficient products. This electrician was one the best businessman I have ever had the pleasure to work with! He was kind, courteous, professional and fair. I felt secure in the fact that he knew what he was talking about and answered all our questions without seeming to be "put out" like some other contractors I have dealt with. Needless to say the kitchen looks great and he will be back to install our ceiling fan soon!!!!!! Thank Carter Corporation for a wonderful and stress free experience!
