My experience with them was good. They were professional guys and they did professional work; they did a good job.

Great. As soon as I owned the place they started. The majority of the work was done in 3.5 months, which is fairly quick.

It went well. They were punctual. They completed the work within a day. I have no complaints. The price was reasonable.

The room came out great! It was noticeably warmer this past winter than the winter before (great job with the insulation!). The floors look terrific, and the trim was very well done. The best part is that they got it all done in only 2 days. On one day guys came over to install the blue board and plaster. The next day they did the floors and the trim. I finished the painting and sanding myself (I wanted to do that part), and they accommodated that in the price. Sun Property Group's workers were efficient and professional, and I plan to use them again to do similar work in my master bedroom this fall.

In my opinion, Ryan Hunt and his general-contracting team at Sun really are the best there is. Over the last three years, I have hired Sun at least four times, for everything from a $100 repair of a front-door-intercom system to a $20,000 renovation on a 100-year-old condo. I have not once been disappointed. I have practiced construction law for over a decade and know far better than most how many clowns are floating around out there with a hammer and/or paintbrush in hand and how much of a nightmare dealing with contractors can be. 1. Quality of Work. Outstanding. Sun employs some carpenters who are true artists. On the extremely rare occasion where the finished work does not match expectations 100%, Ryan immediately jumps in to make sure that the job is perfect. 2. Cost. Each time I have hired Sun, total invoices have come in at or below budget. That is almost unheard of in the business. I trust Ryan inherently, and you will not be taken to the cleaners. 3. Design. Not sure what you want? There is no need for endless hand-wringing. Sun can build you something fit for the Taj Majal, a backyard shed, or anything in between. With my $20K complete condo renovation, Ryan offered me a wide array of options that helped me stay within my budget. 4. Responsiveness. If Ryan assures you that the work will be done by a certain date, the work will be done by that date. On the rare occasion when a subcontractor hired by Sun threatens to cause delay, Sun jumps in with its own workers or a replacement sub to make sure that the work is completed on time. 5. Communication. Ryan responds to most phone calls and e-mails within 24 hours, and I cannot recall a single instance where I didn't hear back from him in more than 48 hours, including on weekends.

Nice installation. I needed some finish carpentry completed for a detailed crown molding installation. I chose this group because of their professionalism, and they proved just that. The work was completed in two days. They installed on day one, and painted on day two, keeping our living space clean throughout. Well done.

The project, which was the first of this size for myself, went very well. The finished product was the quality craftsmanship we were told we'd get, and the process getting to the completed project was smooth. The communication throughout the duration of the renovation was pleasant and kept to the expectations that I had. The project was completed in just about 7 weeks. All in all, I am very happy with the money invested to have this renovation completed. I'd certainly work with this company again.

Ryan at Sun Property Group is an easy guy to work with, and is very straightforward. His guys installed the new fiber glass insulation into the outer wall and ceiling, and installed blue board on all four walls in a few hours. The plasterer he normally uses was on vacation, so he brought in a third party at no additional expense to me to get the job done in a timely fashion. To save me money, he allowed me to do the painting myself, and only sent in a guy to install the hardwood floors once I was able to get it done. I have no doubt that they could have done the entire job for me, but I like to get my hands dirty, and appreciate the fact that they accommodated me in this regard, rather than pushing to just get the job done themselves. Furthermore, the new wall that I installed between the guest bedroom and bathroom was definitely not 100% straight, but, after their finishing job, you can't tell at all, which is excellent, especially given the price.
