Brooks left a very professional, detailed estimate with copies of his license and insurance information. We accepted and sent a deposit. A few days later the door frame broke. I called to see if Brooks could start earlier and he said that he had actually broken the frame trying to open the garage door and inspect the work. He started the next day with two masons who did the concrete work. They needed water and electricity for their power tools which meant access to the house while we were at work. Their power tools caused the circuit to close down. Next day, at Brooks request, we left the cellar door open so they could access a heavy duty outlet. Upon return in the evening this door was still wide open. Luckily we were not robbed.The rubber roof was installed in good order and the door frame is strong and and well built. There is still some concern since dark brick shapes show through the concrete in a few places more than two weeks later. The area was cleaned up thoroughly and many heavy items were moved in and out of the garage and on the roof in order to complete the job.

He agreed to finish the project in 6 weeks (beginning Sept. 5th). However, it turned into 10 weeks. Also, I was disappointed because he did not organize jobs properly. The damage on floor joint and sill plate should be fixed in the beginning because heavy traffic on damage area affected house down to the center. However he did not fix the damage until 9th week. It was also very stressful because he did not work neither communicate during 2nd and 3rd week and then suddenly asked me bathroom tiles and kitchen tiles on 4th week. I did special order, which took 2 weeks. And, He blamed me for the delay. I believe that he could work on vinyl siding on 2nd or 3rd week. There were lots of jobs he could work. Unfortunately, he just did NOT work my jobs on 2nd and 3rd week. It was whole house renovation. He did not have experience to handle my project. So, I had to go through really hard time.
