The work was excellent and the price was considerably lower than the conservater we had initially contacted.
He gave us an estimate of how long the work would take and kept to the estimate.

I sent one small painting to Peter Williams in the mail. I didn't think that I had a lot to lose. I later called Peter to ask whether he could clean and repair the painting, how long it would take and what it would cost. His response completely surprised me. The work was completed within days at an extremely reasonable price. I went to his studio in Boston to retrieve the painting and to drop off another. His studio is like an adventure. Peter performs work for collectors and auction houses. In his studio he cleans and restores paintings and frames. If you have old paintings, I would recommend that you check with Peter about restoring them to their original brilliance. I would go to his shop. It is worth the time. Peter and his people are extremely capable. I was thrilled and completely satisfied with the experience.
