Basically, I was so lost without his help, it's very tough to understand the building  & electrical codes and to figure out what your options are. He provided outstanding advice and finish carpentry help and his 30+ years of construction experience  ended up saving me time, $  and headaches.

They were punctual and the job took 3 days.  We were happy they started by 7:00 and finished around 4 so that worked for us.

Mike arrived early and worked hard all day. He came up with solutions that were cost effective but most importantly would not compromise the look and integrity of the house. The house still has much of it's original wood work which dates back close to 100 years. Mike identified it, very carefully removed it, and sent it out to be stripped. He referred to the process as "performing surgery". I'm still shocked when I examine some of the window sills he replaced and how seamless they appear. Every item resolved was done with care, and completely effectively, so there would be no gray areas during re-inspection. His cleanup was excellent as shown by the dust wipes that proved to be lead free during re-inspection. In addition to being an excellent carpenter, Mike's very trustworthy and above all, a really nice guy, which is important when you consider that the person you hire will be spending a lot of time in your house and around your family.
