 + -1 moreAfter talking with a few real estate agents, we were convinced that going with a buyer's only agent was the way to go, we went with Gary Dwyer and we are so happy we did. He helped us with EVERYTHING and the whole experience was great. The first meetings in his office were devoted to explaining the process and answering all our questions. We went to a lot of open houses by ourselves and Gary set up appointments to see places that were not having open houses or for second viewings. He managed to schedule quite a few visits per day, and his insight was invaluable but he never said "you should do this or that". Even though we took a long time and saw many places, we never felt any pressure on his part, even though he would obviously not make any money until we bought. When we made an offer, we had learned so much from him that we felt very comfortable with it. He was great at walking us through the process, nine months later we look back at our first home purchase as a great experience.
Description of Work: Gary Dwyer first helped us figure out what we wanted, needed and could realistically expect to find. He also helped a lot in finding places we might be interested in, set appointments for us to see all these places and came with us. He also had a great eye for the strengths and weaknesses of places and always told us what he thought about each place in a very descriptive and objective way. When we were ready to make an offer, he explained everything carefully and made sure we knew exactly what the process would be like, etc. He helped us negotiate the price and then managed everything flawlessly. Considering you do not have to pay any extra money (the seller's agent has to split his/her commission with your agent) and Gary's attention is devoted solely to your interests, you really get a great service for the same money you would spend anyway.
