PLEASE DO NOT HIRE Leo Monteiro and Marcos Pires of Everstand Construction Inc, 67 South Bedford Street, Suite 400W, Burlington, MA. License # CS-108678. I have paid $390,800 for my home renovation in Belmont, MA Fall 2017. I am not happy with the work they have done. I am a medical professional and a single dad of 7-year-old twin boys. I hired them to do a great job, but they have disappointed me greatly. Leo Monteiro is very charismatic and a smooth talker. He will tell you exactly what you need to hear to hire him:” I always stand behind our work. I am not like other contractors out there. I can always be reached and I will get back to very soon. Etc.” I am stuck with a huge problem of my heating system, NAVIEN tankless boiler system. It makes harmonic humming sound all the time. The vibration is so loud in the nighttime I can hear it in my master bed in the second floor. I am having this problem since 10/18/17. Leo Monteiro and Al Veria from ALDO HAVC came by and said the boiler system is installed per code. I reached out directly to AL Veira, ALDO HVAC, how installed the NAVIEN system, about his Navien Tankless boiler system, and basically he said that if I ever texted or contacted him back again, he would call the police!!!!! Both Leo Monteiro and Al Veira of ALDO HAVC are not living in my house during the nighttime when I cannot sleep from the vibration of the machine. My twin boys are afraid of the sound during the night. So, I had buy sound machine to try and mask the harmonic vibration sound from the Navien boiler. Leo Monteiro stated to me that he would come back and revent the intake and exhaust pipes directly out the back of my house to see if the harmonic vibration sound will terminate. But he has not come back. It is not worth his time to come and help and correct his mistake. He got his money $390,800 and he is out. I have emailed, texted and called Leo Monteiro for weeks now and he has not responded back to me. LEO MONTEIRO GOT HIS $390,800 AND RAN AWAY. HE IS NOT COMING BACK TO HELP ME WITH THE PROBLEM THAT HE HAS CREATED. So, if you hire him, then you are on your own. Be prepared to have your money taken and get a below par work (painting issues in the house, the improper electrical outlets, unfinished baseboards behind the bathroom vanities, to poor carpentry and numerous other issues.) I am truly disappointed in Leo Monteiro and Marcos Pires of Everstand Construction, Inc. As a medical profession, if I did work like Leo Monteiro and Marcos Pires, I will be charged with Malpractice. THEREFORE, IF YOU HIRE HIM, THEN BE PREPARED TO SUFFER LIKE ME. YOU HAVE TO CHECK EVERY SINGLE THING THAT HE AND HIS SUBCONTRACTORS DO IN YOUR HOME. I was recommended to Marcos and Everstand Construction by a customer of mine (I own a retail store). From the first meeting with Marcos it was apparent that he was very personable, professional, and experienced. Throughout the time Everstand worked on my home Marcos was very available and accessible. As for their workers, I don't believe Everstand could have harder working painters, plasterers, and drywall installers. These guys were at my home early every day and worked very hard throughout the day paying special attention to detail. I felt more than safe to leave a key for them to let themselves in. If I needed anything throughout the process, Marcos would personally come over and stay late if he had to to get the job done. Our home is truly beautiful thanks to Everstand Construction. Without a doubt I would recommend them to anyone and will be contacting them again when I need work done on my home and my business.

They came very well recommended by a co- worker of mine, from our first meeting we were really impressed with their professionalism and great inputs about our project. We received all quotes and decided to move forward with Everstand and we couldn't be happier with this decision. They were not the lowest price we had, but we felt they were being more "inclusive" and upfront with their numbers and their proposal letter. The quality of their work is great and speaks by itself, they brought a great sense of urgency and effectiveness to the project since they knew we had to move out of our old place. We were impressed by how hard their crews worked and how nice and professional they are. They were very responsive throughout the whole project and made this whole remodeling experience a breeze for our family!
