A complete nightmare. Worst decision we have ever made and we are still paying for it. Surette billed himself as a licensed contractor capable of and experienced at building an addition and performing a partial home renovation. After concealing it from us, it turns out that he was unlicensed and pulled the permit under another builder's name. In the meantime he poured the foundation incorrectly, installed the plumbing incorrectly, and punctured the radiant heat tubing. Despite multiple warnings he undermined the neighbor's walkway resulting in costly delays and intervention by the city inspectors. He repeatedly failed to follow detailed architectural plans provided to him at the outset of the project. After a 8 weeks he was 4 weeks behind schedule and over $12,000 could not be accounted for despite being paid in advance. We also found out from his subcontractors that he was not paying what he owed them despite being paid on time by us. He was eventually terminated for breach of contract and lying to us about his license status.

I had a good experience with Enviro and would use them again. The owner, Bernie, provides frequent updates and he is reliable.

I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the work. The work has high quality. It was performed as quickly as possible. The prices for each stage of the renovation were below estimates. I received elsewhere. Unanticipated problems were handled honestly. A low cost to me. Given all of the horror stories I have heard about contractors, it was a pleasure to work with Bernie. His workers are excellent. I got better prices that other estimates made for the same work. Bernie explained each aspect of the job clearly to me. I have recommended him to my friends who need work done to the houses.
