Design Kyo

I have a old cedar fence that was leaning real bad with a broken cross beam, broke boards and top end caps missing. The job was done professionally, with excellent clean up and much much faster than I thought it would take. Toshi was very organized, polite, kind and did exceptional work ! The fence looked so good we hired Toshio to paint weather proofing on fence. Now Out fence looks new and hope to extend life of fence for another 10 years!

The craftsmanship in wood is impeccable -- like fine furniture. Earlier in my life, I lived in Japan for six years, and Toshio's skill reminds me of the very best examples of carpentry I saw there. The wood he selected for the project is very straight-grained, everything is square, level, and plumb... and it smells amazing. He also agreed to some minor trim work inside my house, and it came out looking equally beautiful. I really enjoyed Toshio's professionalism and thoughtfulness, and I can't wait to work with him again on another project.

Toshio was fantastic -- he came and looked at the job and gave a very accurate quote. His quality of work is superb and he cleaned up the worksite completely. He was punctual, professional and very pleasant. The fence looks great -- you wouldn't know that it had been repaired as the design Toshio came up with to fix the fence blends in perfectly. We are so happy with the work that he did and would highly recommend him to anyone needing these types of services.

It went wonderfully. Toshio came the day before to see what needed to be done and what he would need. He was on time each day. The second day he worked for seven hours straight. He was very. Careful about having the appropriate hangers, wires and tools. He was incredibly precise in hanging everything but in particular the four items going up the stairs - it was amazing how he handled the measurements and the care to make sure everything was precisely placed. Everything looks terrific.

Mr. Abiko contacted me regarding the services I was looking for, and immediately set up a time to come out to review the areas I wanted shelves put.  He then sent me a detailed email including not only the design but specific details of the parts he needed to perform this service.  He was very specific about every detail and all costs involved in the project as well.  He kept me up to date on where he was with the building of the particular shelves he designed.  They are wonderful the time and effort he put into this project was amazing to say the least.  He installed the shelves yesterday he did an outstanding job.  He is very particular and takes great pride in his work.  The end result is just fantastic it is just what I wanted. I would highly recommend him he was an excellent find.

I knew from the first visit to estimate the quote, Toshio's quote might be bit higher than others but I was highly impressed with his thoroughness. The job was not large, but I appreciated getting a written quote with such detail.  Other estimates I received were a bit cheaper,  but only provided verbal or vague details in a text as to costs involved.
Toshio took his time to make sure the work was done well and not only was the Polyiso board installed but Toshio added sealant and planks to keep make sure the area under my stairs would have zero drafts. He also installed spray foam in an area of my laundry room and recommended adding a panel over repair to make the area not only well insulated but more finished.
I would hire Toshio Abiko again in a heartbeat. Toshio not only performed exceptional work but is very professional,  arrives on time,  and cleans up after himself.

Toshio work is what I would refer to as "excellence in craftsmanship".  Just by the way he goes about his project you get a feeling from the very beginning that he is going to do it perfectly. He presented an accurate design of the project before he got started and then you get to see his great attention to detail. I can't express in this review how confident I became early on that this guy is proud of his work and that he would do a great job.  He does the work himself, he does it to perfection, and he is very cost effective. I have never been this satisfied working with a contractor for any home project.

Toshio did a fantastic job installing a Bamboo gate in the rear yard of my home. He came two times before making the gate, took all the measurements with greatest accuracy. He then sent me the CAD drawing of the gate to review. After some discussion he adjusted the drawings so that the Gate will fit with high precision between the house and the fence..
On the day of the installation of the Gate, he first removed the old wooden gate and with great focus installed the new Bamboo Gate. Toshio also worked on the wooden fence. The Bamboo Gate can be latched by a rope to a post. This is a big advantage during a hurricane or a storm as there will be no noise of metal hitting.
My Bamboo Gate is the first in my neighborhood and it looks Very Elegant. Bamboo gates have a very long life, are light in weight and looks Exotic.
As always I have high praise for Toshio's workmanship.

I called Toshio Abiko and explained the problem on phone. The following day he came to my home a few minutes before time with all his tools.
There was a Pit close to the entrance of the basement. The Pit was blocked with garbage which was preventing the water to seep into the ground and instead flood my basement. Toshio removed the garbage from the pit and dug the pit for about four feet deep. He then made sure that the water was easily seeping to the ground. Toshio got some good white pebbles and filled the pit with it and made sure that the outside surface height with pebbles was same as the door height to the basement. This is important to bring stuff in and out of the basement.
It has rained a few time since then and not a drop of water has entered my basement from outside. I am very glad that I got this work done by Toshio.
Another work that Toshio did was to cut down my old wooden fence. I felt that the fence was not required so I can have an large open lawn. He completed the work in a very short time and stacked the old fence which was then removed by city garbage collectors the following day.
I have found Toshio to be very Humble, Punctual, Soft spoken and Technically savvy.

Toshio did a superb job installing our cedar fence. He's polite, punctual, and professional; he asked a few questions prior to embarking on the job, then set about his work quickly. The job started on time and was completed within two days. The end result is terrific, too, as the fence is strong and looks great -- we've already received compliments from neighbors. We will seek out his services again in the near future!

Toshio surpassed my expectations on every project with his creativity and design. He always finished projects on time and on budget. We met during the design stage to review his drawing details, discuss materials, and plan the schedule. He is a unique craftsman with a designers mind and skillful hands. On EVERY project he has done for me I have been truly impressed with the final result. If I had a project today, he would be the first person I'd call.
I believe Toshio's training in Japan gives him an advantage. He thinks a project through to the last detail, right from the beginning. This saves time and money! He has developed his skill to build "hybrid" projects, blending Japanese and American cultures together into new and beautiful designs.
