Had my rotten sunroom structural post replaced. Did exactly said what they were going to do.

Wayne was very professional from start to end and communication was excellent throughout the process. I had recently moved in and the stairs to our backyard was in terrible condition. From doing just a regular basic small deck, we quickly started to exchange ideas to do something bigger. I wanted a deck that would be weatherproof underneath so I could use the area under to either store stuffs or even dine in case of rain. Once the deck was done, I quickly realized that my head was close to the ceiling when I was standing under. He suggested that we dig a few feet lower to give me head space. We were able to add recessed lights and it looks so nice! Finally, he suggested that a pergola would be nicer then an awning. Indeed, we can use the pergola even during rain and windy days and at night by close the shades to prevent mosquitoes. He helped me with the installation of the pergola also which wasn't easy. The final result is stunning and we get so many praises from our friends!

From estimate to final walkthrough, I was impressed with Wayne’s professionalism and pride. His ability as a craftsman is as good as I have seen. He completed the job on time and on budget. I highly recommend Wayne for all projects,

We were very satisfied with the new kitchen floor installed by Wayne. This man is a pro who will not disappoint you. He was fair, reasonable in pricing, and did excellent work! Would definitely consider having him do addition projects in the future. Wayne is an individual who you will want to do business with.

Contracted to repair/refinish existing hardwood in living room and hallway as well as replace subfloor and install new hardwood in 2bdrms, hallway and office. Also, install new baseboards and new stair treads, risers and rest. Stain everything to match with 3 layers of poly. What went wrong: 1) installed thinner sheeting than agreed upon per contract. 2) poor workmanship on new hallway flooring. Left huge scratch in new floors. Came back to repair and left a huge golf ball size divot instead. Used wood filling throughout area as well which is now showing. 3) during demo, employees left the walls a mess which required painting every wall again despite they re poor cleaning efforts. 3) during demo, employees cut the thermostat line to the boiler. Didn t discover this until the winter when the heat was needed and needed an electrician to run a new line. 4) employees used the bathroom, peed all over the wall adjacent to the toilet. Also, flushed a huge clump of paper towels down the toilet which obviously clogged it. And yes, I had to clean it up. 5) attempted to change the payment plan midway thru job. 6) never completed contract. Never came back to finish the stairs even though they started it leaving me with partially unfinished stairs. You can t make this stuff up. Overall, the work that was completed was mediocre at best. The job was left uncompleted as Wayne would not return calls and finish the scope of the contract. He was nice to deal with when you actually got a hold of him but I d rather get the work done right than have all the apologies for preventable mishaps due to cutting corners and bad workmanship. Wayne has no business running a contracting business and ppl should stay clear. Very disappointing.

Wayne is a top notch professional, man of his word & reliable. I am so pleased with his work that I will use him for all my future carpentry needs.

Wayne is very pleasant and professional. The crew did a great job on replacing two deck in my home. They gave a good estimate of when the project would be completed. They are on time and leave a clean worksite. I have already recommended them to a friend.

Dao Construction was a pleasure to work with. The estimate for our deck was done on-site. It was nearly written and everything was specified. The guys arrived on time and left no dirt or debris. The workmanship was outstanding and the project was done on budget and on time. Wayne was very easy to work with- very responsive and courteous. I couldn t have asked for anything more. I will hire them back in a minute!

Among all the subcontractors I have use, Wayne Dao has been the best. He finish tiling my bathroom within a few days and worked tirelessly through the night to finish on time. He went above what he needed to do by securing the bathtub to the wall studs. He did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him.

Wayne Dao of Dao Construction did a marvelous job refurbishing our two level deck. Wayne Dao gave a thorough inspection of the job taking his time and asking questions to gather a complete understanding of our expectation of the job. But it was his conscientiousness and commitment to the job that was most impressive. After replacing old boards and preparing to sand and paint; the rains of the Summer of 2018 began. Wayne stayed in touch the entire summer, scheduling & rescheduling our job. We were very impressed with his commitment to the the job and to doing the work right. In a world where having a tradesman return your phone call is a gift; Wayne of Dao Construction is that gift!!

Wayne was pleasant to work with, showed up on time and did and an excellent job installing a laminate floor in a bedroom.

Very prompt and professional service

Wayne and his team were great to work with! Our front porch and back deck look good as new! He was through and affordable. He gave us a written estimate on the spot with a list of all the things he was going to fix with a detailed drawing. He pointed out things that could 'wait' and didn't push us into any costly repairs that weren't needed. He pointed out everything he was doing every step of the way and made it clear what work was being done each day. We highly recommend Dao Construction!

The only complaint that I have is that they were not particularly punctual. However, I do want to point out that after doing the flooring they put all of the furniture back, dusted it all and mopped the floors. The room with the flooring was immaculate. Along with the flooring they also replaced all of the baseboard which were phenomenal with perfectly mitered corners . Definitely will call them first for my next project.

I have a rental unit that became vacant and I decided to update the kitchen with a new stove, microwave, new faucet and tile the back-splash behind the counter. I informed them of an open house date and they made sure all the work was completed on time for the open house. I have used Dao before and have always been pleased with their work and this time was no exception. The tile looks great and I would recommend them for any project big or small.
