We had previously asked E R Electric to come take a look. They charged $160 to take a look for a few minutes and tell us that we need to change the light fixure. Turned out it wasn't the light fixure. The light wasn't wired to the switch for some reason. Dan was amazing- super responsive by text, came over the very next morning right on time. Fixed it in 10-15 minutes and only charged $80 for the visit.

Excellently. Dan and Thai are both very pleasant people to work with. They gave a clear estimate of the cost, worked within our schedule, showed up when they said they would, and did the work quickly. They obtained the necessary permit and arranged for the city electrical inspector to check the work and close out the permit.

Dan and his crew were incredible. He provided a free estimate, an extremely fair price and great quality work. He was punctual, efficient and answered every question/concern I had. I was looking for my go-to electrician for the future projects, D &W is it.

Dan and his crew are smart, conscientious, clean (after work is performed) and consistently professional. They come when they say they are going to come. They do the work quickly, but with care. As with any tradesperson, it's best to do a little research, learn what you want from a job and communicate clearly. When I communicated with Dan and his crew, they were responsive. Dan works to please his customers! In my experience, this is a rare quality in the trades. He did such professional work at a fair cost, my contractor is now using him on his jobs. I can't recommend Dan and his crew more highly! D&W Electric is a find - I recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

I worked with Dan of Dan and Wallis Electrical Contractors.  I cannot say more good things about this company.  Dan was the third electrician that I called. The first one basically canceled twice and the  second one came in to do work entirely unprepared.  Dan came in to do an estimate quickly and we set two days to do the job of two plugs one new cable for a Television and something like 10 lighting fixtures.

He and his helper worked efficiently, carefully, cleanly.  Its was a very elegant. We should all work like this.

Dan and his staff are the best. They performed the work very quickly - the entire job took only a day and a half. Dan helped me choose the right kind of light fixtures/fans for the project. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themsleves, and acted with the highest professionalism. The are simply the best!

Dan Ngo stopped by the day after I called him and replaced a defective switch in just a few minutes' work.

Excellent! Yesterday a washer/dryer was delivered and installed.  All was hooked up except the electrical cord on the machine was too short and my electrical outlet was only a few inches off the floor.  I needed an electrical outlet to be 2 feet higher in order to plug in the washer/dryer. What a dilemma! Of course, the store I purchased the machine from only does basic hookup, no major electrical or plumbing work.
My best bet was to go on Angie's List and search for a local electrician. I found D&W Electrical, sent a message, and Dan replied within an hour.  Thank goodness he was able to come next day.  Dan is very friendly and professional.  He completed the job within an hour's time.  I was so appreciative I filled out the check right away.  Today I have my washer/dryer running.  No more clothes piled up.
On another note, the doorbell panel in my condo complex on the most part does not work.  It has not worked properly for years. Dan offered to tackle the job.  I will take it up with the trustees.

I got D/W Electrical phone from a friend of mine and I was very pleased with work and the price they gave me. Wally is a very personable guy and is really professional. He came out the same day I called him and he gave me an estimate there and then.We scheduled the work to be done a few days later, he turned up on time and he was in and out within a few hours or so. I would have no problem using wally in the future again.

I am impressed with Dan's professionalism, quick assessment of problems, and attention to detail.  He first came to on 9/11/13 to look at all the work and to possibly repair one problematic outlet. He was actually able to complete three or four projects immediately when the plan had only been to provide an estimate.  Dan is just the sort of electrician I had been hoping to find: a small company, a skilled and knowledgable electrician, personal attention, rapid response, very reasonable prices.  We have an old house and I'm sure we'll be using Dan again as problems arise.

I found D/W Electrical very professional and responsive. I met with Wallis two hours after I made the initial call to him and he had a price sent to me by email an hour or so after our meeting which I thought was really professional. Two days later the work began and I was surprised how fast and efficient the were. The total job took three days with two days at the start and they had to come back a week or so later to install the finish lights. They took the time to walk me through every part of the job and answered any questions I had. They also were very clean and tidied up every evening before they left. I would not hesitate to recommend wallis and Dan to anyone and I intend to use them in the future .

D&W Electrical provided high quality service and was also able to handle my request within a few hours.  Dan and Wallis (D&W) give me a good explanation for why my electrical outlets were not working and made the necessary repairs to get them working again.  They also installed new lighting in one of our bedrooms and this task required drilling in the ceiling. This two-man team completed this job is a prompt manner and made sure the room was clean before leaving.

I had Dan out to do an estimate on the work after which I received two additional estimates.  When I decided to go with Dan, I felt positive about his work being of quality and the best price that could be offered.  As we neared the date, Dan was available to speak with on the phone and communicated in a timely fashion with me.  When he arrived he was punctual, professional and the work was done just as we had agreed on.  We plan to consider Dan for future work for our condo association.

He started at 6pm and was finished at 8 pm and referred me to another one of his contacts to complete the patch work and hook the vent up his specialtiy is electrical and he sticks to that he does that best.

Dan is amazing.  He was able to give a better estimate than another electrician because he brought a circuit tester and was able to determine whether the existing outlets were grounded, whether fixtures needed to be replaced or just had a loose wire, etc.  He went through the house very quickly and I assumed that, when he came back to do the work, I'd have to go through the specifics again. However, Dan seems to have a photographic memory and remembered everything.
Dan arrived on time, eager to start, and worked very quickly and efficiently.  In addition to the original work listed above, he analyzed the problem with a stovetop burner (so old the replacement has to be special ordered), installed a new plug on the cord of my iron (chewed through while unplugged by my puppy), and installed a wireless doorbell rather than re-wire my disconnected one.  (He donated the fixture since he said he had an extra!)  He was careful about keeping things clean, too.
Another electrician who looked at the job seemed to be trying to avoid any hard work, like running wires through the walls to install new boxes or switches by repeatedly cautioning me about how expensive it would be.  His estimate to install ONE new outlet was twice Dan's estimate for the whole job!
Dan is a problem solver who looks at the situation, figures out the most efficient way to fix it, and dives in.  He is intelligent, motivated, and really knows his stuff.  We are very, very happy to have found him!

I can't say enough good things about Danny and Wally. For starters their price was below many other estimates that I received. Some estimates were 10K dollars over what I paid in total. I found that I received a more than fair price overall. They were even happy to install a new fan in my daughters room at no charge. Overall my experience was wonderful from start to finish. They showed up everyday and cleaned up like they weren't even there. The whole project went very smooth, which from my ex contractor was a fresh of breath air. I'm so glad that I found D&W, I would recommend them to anyone looking for (two) great electricians!

It went very well.  The electricians were here one day to run the wiring and then a second day to complete all the wiring of the fixtures.  Everything worked and there were not any issues.
