I've moved a lot and this was by far the best experience ever. I was blown away by the care and concern for my belongings. They wrapped everything. The guys were delightful and so nice and accommodating. There was nothing they wouldn't do for me. They worked efficiently and the price was right.

We packed everything, so they only had to load and unload but they were super efficient and got it done on time and budget. I've worked with other movers in the past who waste time and screw around then charge you when they go over the time they quoted, but Carmel was all business! I had to pay a bit of a premium for them to come all the way from Boston up to North Andover, but it was entirely worth it and I'm hoping to hire them again for my upcoming move.

Carmel did a great job. They worked hard and efficiently and got us moved in about seven hours, including the drive (about 18 miles). They were communicative throughout the process. We had a few dings on our furniture here and there, but I imagine that's almost impossible to avoid. Mostly, we were blown away by how professional and efficient the crew was.

They were the most professional movers we've ever used. They took excellent care of everything. They listened to our needs, and were very responsive. Out team was well supervised and our foreman was awesome. Highly recommend!!

Hector and his crew showed up on-time, were extremely professional and finished right on schedule. Customer service was extremely helpful and Ivan is sales is fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about Carmel Movers. This is the second time we've used their services, and both times were fantastic. The crew was on time and even helped us finish up the packing (which wasn't part of my quote). They wrapped everything carefully (NOTHING was broken) and were careful to put everything in the right room at the new house. They even moved things around after I changed my mind, and offered to install my air conditioner for me. After all that, they were STILL ahead of schedule! They're the best in the business, hands down.

You must give Vivo and Carmel Movers a call before you book with any other movers!
Vivo and his team are amazing! They want nothing but a perfect moving experience for your family and belongings. We had the Perez team for our move. He and his team were respectful, hardworking, and committed to providing my family with the best moving experience. Every request I made was either granted or explained in detail why it could not happen as I wanted. 
Vivo is the owner and he is hands on with his company. He came to our old house and walked me through what could be moved and what might be better handled by me. He wants his customers to be happy and completely satisfied with their moving experience. I did wait longer than expected to hear back from Vivo after the meeting at my house, but any concerns I had were quickly eliminated by the service and work I received.
I requested the Perez team to complete the last part of my move and Vivo made sure that the Perez team was assigned. I only noticed a few areas that could have been improved: 4 appropriatley marked boxes were not placed in the correct rooms and; (just noticed two weeks after the move!) that the plywood that we had between our matress and box spring is missing. It did not even cross my mind to look for the plywood. 
Even with these minor oversights, I would hire and recommend Carvel Movers to any of my friends and family. I can't say enough about the quality and service.
Carmel Movers will be the only company I will call if we need moving services again!

It went very well. They showed up on time. Moved things carefully and were very solicitous when I was trying to set things up in the new place. They wanted to make sure that the big things were in the right places and beds were put together again. That boxes were piled and sorted in the right rooms.

I had interviewed and gotten estimates from 2 other movers but I chose Carmel because it had the lowest price and was highly recommended by 2 RE agents. The office personnel was friendly and helpful and set up an appointment for the owner (Vivo) to come and estimate the cost. He came on time and after looking at what I wanted moved, recorded  the items. I received a written estimate: a fixed price plus the hourly cost of the packers and for the materials they used for packing the breakables.
 After I decided to use Carmel Movers, the coordinator (Ivan) helped to schedule the packing and move-in dates. He arranged for delivery of boxes, wrapping paper and tape for me to pack books and other items that do not break.  
On the chosen day, 3 young men came and packed the breakables and most of the large oil paintings under the leadership of Edgar. Edgar and his team were very efficient, friendly, courtious, and were finished in about 2 hours.
The next day, they arrived on time, packed the largest painting in a larger container and loaded their truck. They went for lunch and met me about 1 hour later at the complex.  One issue that could have been a problem was that my apartment was on the wing furthest from the freight elevator.  But they took it in stride and did not complain.
First they loaded the furniture, arranged according to the plan I drew up, adjusted every thing to my satisfaction.  THEN CAME THE BOXES!  Wow, I had not realized how much stuff I had and had not reduced it beforehand. The boxes filled up 2/3 of my living room.
These guys were great they made every effort to make my space livable.  It took them till almost 6 PM. PS nothing broke
In the meantime, with the help of a well timed yard sale at the complex I have managed to stow all the excess stuff and the apartment looks very good.
Ivan arranged for the empty boxes to be collected (for charity). Further contact with the office to correct a math error went smoothly.

The owner came and gave me a price. We set up a date and the amount of time I needed my things to be in storage. On packing day the crew was efficent and polite, they even did more packing then planned.  The next day they came fist thing in the morning and moved my belongings into storage and we set a date for delivery at my new home 2 months later. During those 2 months we touched bace to make sure plans had not changed.  On the set date in October the movers arrived at the time they had set up with me and with the same efficecy they put down all my orentials and  placed all my furniture where I told them to. I paid them and they left. I was told to call if there was any brakeage or problems,  but everything was in perfect condition. I could not have been more pleased.

The move was flawless.  On the first day, two guys showed up as scheduled to start packing.  They took care of everything.  On the second day, three guys showed up to finish the packing and begin the move.  It took two trips, but we were completely moved by the end of the day.  The movers were skilled, punctual, and personable...and hard workers.  They put in a 13 hour day of non-stop physical labor.  A++ experience.  Hire with confidence.

Overall they were fine.  The furniture was heavy but they put it where I asked and were fine shifting it around a little until I was satisfied with the placement.

I was very pleased.  One thing I particularly liked was that there was a set price for the move.  Vivo came to our old house before the move to give us a quote for the move.  The other moving companies I contacted all used an hourly rate.  I didn't like the idea of the cost of the move being a moving target depending on how long it took to package and load our stuff.  I much preferred having a set price.  As an aside, Carmel's set price was actually considerably lower than the other estimates I received. Carmel also includes packing materials in the price of the move, rather than charging separately for boxes, etc as many companies do.
Several weeks before moving out of our old house, a crew stopped by to drop off the packing materials.  We opted to pack ourselves, although having Carmel pack for us was an option.
Our move occurred on 2 separate days.  We moved out of our old house on one day, our stuff went into storage for 3 weeks, and then we moved into our new house.
The day of the move out, the crew arrived promptly around 7:30am as scheduled.  They worked non-stop all day and did a fantastic job protecting all of our stuff.
The day of the move in, the crew again arrived as scheduled and very efficiently unloaded everything into the proper rooms and re-assembled the furniture.  Not a single item was scratched or broken.
A few weeks after the move, I contacted Carmel to see if they wanted the empty boxes back, and a truck came by 2 days later and picked them all up.
I was very pleased with everyone I interacted with, from Vivo, to the office staff (especially Ivan), to the crews who did the moving.  Everyone was very responsive.
The price for the move out was $1500 and for the move in was $1250.  There was no separate charge for the 3 weeks of storage (1st month of storage was free).
Their price was very competitive and actually was better than the other quotes I got, without the uncertainty of hourly rates, extra charges for boxes, or extra charges for storage.  I would highly recommend them.

These guys are great. They are quick, use a lot of common sense in how to move things and where to put them (more than can be said for some other moving companies), friendly, and set everything up where you want it at the new place. They are very professional. The best part is there are no hidden fees--the quote they provide includes everything, including any boxes of packing tape they need to use.

THE PHONE INTERACTIONS WHILE SETTING UP THE MOVE WERE PLEASANT AND AGENTS WERE VERY HELPFUL. TWO MEN DOING MOST OF WRAPPING AND MOVING WERE FINE. HOWEVER COMMUNICATION WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT; THEY DIDN''T, OR CHOSE NOT TO, SPEAK ENGLISH. CREW CHIEF WAS RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS. HE PUT 7 VERY LONG SCRATCHED IN THE HARDWOOD FLOORS WHILE DRAGGING FURNITURE. WHEN I SHOWED HIM THE DAMAGE, HE FIRST DENIED IT THEN BLAMED ME. MOVING CHARGES HE INSISTED ON COLLECTING WERE INCORRECT & IT TOOK 3 PHONE CALLS TO OFFICE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT. HE REFUSED TO WRAP UP SOME ITEMS FULLY IN BLANKETS, E.G. LEAVING SIDES OF DRESSERS SHOWING. WHEN I REQUESTED THAT HE ADD ANOTHER BLANKET, HE PRETENDED NOT TO UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. NOW MY STUFF IS STUCK IN THEIR STORAGE AND I REALLY DON''T WANT TO USE THEM AGAIN TO GET IT OUT, BUT AM STUCK.
