BUILDING MATERIALS RESOURCE CENTER

We renovated a kitchen and wanted to donate removed items insted of trashing them. We reviewed the donation guidelines online and determined that some of our items (cabinets, stove) matched their criteria while others (dishwasher) did not. We further e-mailed Dave Adams with photographs of the items and complete descriptions to confirm accepability, which Dave did. We then instructed our contractor to spend extra time and care (read: money) to remove the cabinets carefully so BMRC could pick them up. Arrangements were quickly made with BMRC for the next morning (8am-noon). However, they showed up three hours late and then refused to accept the donations.
