Everything went well. We did not have quite enough knobs, one cabinet was not quite right, but Kim straightened that stuff out quickly.

We contacted Boston Building Resources because they are a vendor for cabinets that will match the existing cabinetry in our kitchen. Linda came to our house to do the measurements, then provided a recommended plan via email. We visited her office to make the final choice of layout and style.

I have been gradually restoring the windows of my house, circa 1920. Because the windows are so old I need hard to find parts and a lot of advice. The folks at BBM have spent a lot of time helping me out by giving me advice and showing me how to fix the windows. They are knowledgable and very helpful. They believe in restoration and carry hard to find parts at reasonable prices. If you are going to spend a lot it is worth paying the fee to join. I've never had a bad experience.

They have a reclaimed section with used wood, etc. It has a neighborhood feel and the people there are very helpful. They'll tell you when you don't need to buy something and when you can do something yourself.

He was very good. I think he has some affiliation with Boston Building Materials Co-Op. His price was low. There was nothing flashy and nothing fancy about him. He was just down to business and super thorough. He is great for new time home buyers. He told us exactly what in the house would need work in the next few years and what we would have to keep our eyes on and things like that. He was just outstanding. We had called him when we bought our second house, but he wasn't available then. We will definitely call him if we buy another house.

The thing that's really great about them is that they specialize in older houses. It's hard to find parts for older houses. The whole staff has a really good feel for older houses. You may go in looking for cabinets, but they can answer other questions you might have. They have a shop in the back. Homeowners that want to know about their houses can take classes. They are wonderful people to work with. They take an interest in your project, which isn't something you find often at other places. The price is very good. Everything I've gotten from them has been really good. There's a long wait time when you're ordering cabinets.

BBMC corrected a problem by talking to the Candlelight Cabinetry factory, and the issue was resolved. Excellent service. Cabinet supplier only (not an installer)

Wonderful service, very helpful with great suggestions. She did not try to push expensive products on me, but helped me choose would would work with our style and budget. She's also great at layout design. Linda helped me get the cabinets as quickly as possible when an issue came up with my contractors schedule. The other staff at BBMC are great, too. I am currently ordering a granite countertop through them and they have been very helpful in working with the granite yard.

Great. They are so knowledgeable and sell lots of things you just can't find at a hardware store.

The process went very well. When we first entered BBMC Paul was very helpful in explaining our options. Steve came by and measured the windows and suggested which windows we get help on due to irregularities in the structure. The measurements were included in the quote Paul sent to us and we placed the order soon after. The windows arrived 2 1/2 weeks later and we picked them up. Then Steve came back and helped us install two windows. We successfully installed the other 5 on our own. Everything went very well. Steve was a great help. For the do-it-yourself types, this is a great option. Steve also recommended someone to pick-up the old storms. That also worked out really well for us. Everything was great! I should mention that the windows were one price, and Steve's expertise was a separate charge. The cost above reflects the total of all charges.

The lady was very punctual and professional. She explained everything to me, all the pros and cons. She added details and made various plans for me to chose from. She worked with me all the way. Their price is very cheap and I would highly recommend them.

Linda is an expert at kitchen layout. She is terrific at organization, incredibly patient, and helpful at answering questions. She took a set of architectural drawings and a cabinet style and worked up a complete layout on the computer of our kitchen. She went through several iterations, checking the dimensions and allowing for clearances of doors and appliances. She consulted with the architect, helped us choose a less expensive option for the cabinets, and checked and double-checked the order. The cabinets were ordered and delivered as planned.
