The young man who helped me was very nice and seemed to know his stuff. The price was reasonable. It took over a month, however, to get the work back, but I wasn't in a big hurry, so it didn't matter too much.

I highly recommend Boston Art and Framing. I worked with the owner, Dave. He was masterful. He has a trained eye and he took a very long time to work with me to find suitable frames for my artwork. He was expensive, but I am very happy with the value provided for what I got.

A really good experience. I brought the photo over. It was already matted and the owner said it was fine to use. He talked to me about where the picture would hang and quickly helped to pick out a perfect frame. They did a beautiful job and it was ready earlier than promised.

I searched for weeks to find the best place to frame some artwork I was creating. I chose Boston Art and Framing on Charles St., Beacon Hill, Boston and I'm so glad that I did. Dave went to a lot of trouble to help me find the exact frame and finial I wanted. He has a huge selection of beautiful frames. He also let me look through catalogs and he ordered different samples for me. When they came in, he let me take them home so I could see them in the room, and he then ordered the ones I wanted. The work I had done was complicated; I had three large pieces of artwork framed. Each one involved stretching one piece of delicate fabric over another. It required a lot of patience and care, and I was so pleased with the results! Dave did an amazing job. He is a very skilled framer and was very careful to complete the project to my exact specifications. He was very professional, but also very friendly and fun to work with. I really enjoyed the time I spent in his shop. The pieces are absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier. In fact, I have since ordered a large custom-made mirror with a beautiful hand-carved frame that Dave is having made to match the drawer pulls on my dresser. He's great and I highly recommend Boston Art and Framing.

We used to use a framing shop in Davis Square that we loved, but it has since closed. Last year we had a terrible experience with a framer in Brookline and were hesitant trying yet another one. They were excellent though, Kristen was very helpful finding the perfect shade of green to go with the award. They kept the price within the budget we had and the framing was done exactly when they said it be (one day earlier than we had even asked them to have it finished). The response to the framing was great, everyone was wowed by it.
