Expensive, ineffective and rude. Home office very difficult to deal with, act as if they are doing you a favor. They quit and left us in the lurch as soon as faced with a garden infestation they could not get under control. We replaced them within an hour with a fantastic alternative. There are much better choices out there, so avoid these people at all costs.

I noticed I had some critter holes under a crawl space foundation when I removed an old deck. I called Boris based on positive reviews on Angies List and he sent out a guy to look at the holes and set traps. They caught the critters, but felt there was a bigger problem involved.
They thought there was an open sewer pipe under the crawl space and put me in contact with the department in the City
that could test for this. Boris was correct – there was an open pipe. I would never have figured that on my own - these guys knew what was going on and understood what had to be done.
You may not think of pest control as a glamorous world, but these guys were professional (all showed up with their company shirts on), knowledgeable, courteous, and quick. Price was maybe I a bit high, but I will call it fair for the number of times they had to come back. I hope I never have a critter problem again, but I would certainly call Boris if I do.

It went well. The people were on time, courteous, and we haven't had any problems since.

I live in the city and have a sunken backyard patio that has an walkway between the backyard and the street. Evidently, rodents were burrowed in ivy that grew along the edges of the patio and using the alley to get back and forth to the streets/sewer. I called Boris Pest Contol and they came out the next morning to set traps and poiston. They were very professional and made me feel comfortable with what they would do. They also provided me suggestions to stop the issue from happening again. It took several weeks to get rid of the problem, but they came several times a week to check on it. I would highly recommend them.

Great experience. Boris pursued all avenues to solve our tricky rat problem. They checked back frequently and were determined to solve our problem. We are extremely pleased. We've used them several times for mice problems in the house as well and have had a great experience every time. They are prompt, professional and get the job done.

I highly recommend Boris Pest Control as I was so pleased and happy with their service. I own a rental property that has had trouble with vermin over the past years. I have called Terminix in the past, they came out and tried to sell me an expensive annual contract or else charge a fortune for a one time service. I have had other local services come out, go through the property in 15 mins and charge a fortune. I was getting frustrated by the continued problem and called Boris on a recommendation from a friend. The lady on the phone was professional, quoted me $325 to work on a triple decker and was flexible with timeslots. They work on Saturdays, she gave me a window of 10-2 and said they would call 30mins beforehand to give me a heads up. They called at 9:30am on Saturday and showed up promtly at 10am. It took them approx 35-40mins to go through the property. They did a very good inspection of all three floors and the basement area. The problem was far more serious than I thought. They clearly explained the issues and told me how I could help prevent it from recurring. They are also coming back in a week to remove and clear traps, and have given me a three month guarantee where they will come back at no charge if there is a problem. Due to the extent of the problem and the seriousness of the issue, and a promised return trip to clear traps, I expected the price to be higher than the original quote, but NO...it was still the same price I was quoted. I was so delighted with their service, I've been given such a run around from other services, Boris is completely professional, not only do they provide a good service but they also tell you why you have a problem and what you need to do to fix it. The best pest service I have worked with to date.

Everything went as well as could be expected. I called Boris on a Saturday and on Mon. or Tuesday one of their guys was able to come by. The person I spoke to on the phone was clearly very knowledgeable and very familiar with the routine of ridding multi-family homes of mice--he explained exactly what would take place and why. When the guy arrived he did a complete inspection of the house from the basement to the top floor, and was able to determine where the mice were likely nesting. He laid a combination of snap-traps, sticky traps and poison in strategic locations around the house. It was very smooth and quick and the fact that there is a three month warranty was icing on the cake. Two and a half months later, so far, so good. The only reason I resisted giving top marks across the board was that my wife mentioned that the guy that was here doing the work gave her the "ma'am, we're professionals, we know what we're doing... no stupid questions please..." attitude. But, other than that, it was a positive experience and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. if

They are a company that needs to be on Angie's List because they do really good work and are very knowledgeable in their field. We would recommend them to friends and anyone needing this type of service because they are a good company to work with.

This company has been around for years. They will come on Saturdays. They communicate with my husband, so he feels like he is in the loop. They are friendly, too. They can get the job done well and they're experienced with dealing with stuff like mice, rats, and raccoons. We have found them to be really accommodating. They have always taken good care of us if we have kind of an emergency situation with rodents on our hand, so we could definitely report all good experiences with them I would say.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND VERY NICE. THEY HAVE BEEN COMING TO MY HOME FOR MANY YEARS DUE TO THE ANT PROBLEM EVERY SUMMER.

RESPONSIVE AND QUICK. PROBLEM WAS STUBBORN, AND THEY CAME BACK 3 TIMES UNTIL THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. VERY HONEST. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

ON TIME, BUT DID TAKE TECHNICIAN A LONG TIME TO COMPLETE JOB.
