All City Masonry and Construction

I wasn't in a huge rush so I was not terribly upset that the job got postponed 2 or 3 times. Unfortunately I was not home when the work was done. I did not get to meet the person actually doing the work. I was expecting an experienced mason. The person giving the estimate, Jason Coffey, gave me the impression that I would be getting some class A workmanship. Honestly, I am pretty sure I could have done a better job myself and I am no mason. As the pictures will show you, there was no attempt to be neat. Cement / Stucco remnants were all over the stairs and sidewalk. The stucco on the border was cracking and chipping after 3 days. There was nothing about this that someone would think was acceptable. There was no quality control. The very sad thing, for me, is that I left a check without seeing the finished product. I take responsibility for paying an outrageous amount of money for unskilled workmanship. I did complain and Jason sent over someone who only tried to clean the stairs. He got it cleaner but was still a mess. I complained again and Jason sent over a 3rd person, someone with more experience, who did clean up and repaired the stucco. Now that I know approximately how much time was spent on the job and the subsequent repairs it is my estimate that I paid over $350 an hour for this labor. I am truly embarrassed.
