Today, I was locked out of our bathroom (we live in a 2 Bed, 1 bath apartment) and I called the locksmith to let us in since it is not a standard lock and was just a damaged lock all around.
I was told that it would take 25 minutes for the locksmith to arrive, and that it would cost $19 + $35, and maybe a little extra. The locksmith took close to 1 hour to get here, and then told us it would cost $245 to unlock the bathroom door. I told him that I was not willing to pay that, and that I would like him to leave. I even said I would pay the $19 + $35 for his time and to give us the cost.
He refused to leave, even though I told him 3 times I was not willing to pay $245. He kept bringing the price down, and then said $180 final offer. I just wanted him to leave, so I agreed to it. The service took less than 10 minutes.
I will never use this service again. Very unprofessional.
