I first contacted Chris through the phone number located on the Boston section of their website. I left a message as indicated and he called me back within a half hour. I spoke to him for a time, detailing what the move would be like. He asked where I was moving from, what type of stuff was being moved, what floor it was located on, approximately how much, where it was going to, and where in the storage facility was my unit located. He quoted a time estimate of 3 hours with 2 men and a truck, for a rate of $120 per hour, a price I was satisfied with. After leaving a $70 security deposit online, I was contacted two days before the move to confirm. The day of the move, scheduled for 9am, I received a call from Ryan, one of the movers, at 8:30am saying that they had run into some traffic coming out of Boston and were running late. Normally I would have considered tardiness as unprofessional, but the way that it was handled was very professional, and as someone who drives in and out of Boston frequently, I can sympathize with traffic issues. The two young men arrived just before 9:30am, and after a brief walk through of the house, they began to take the items methodically out to the truck. Ryan seemed to be in charge, and spent some time packing the truck while the other mover carried some of the smaller things out himself. It was done quickly but carefully, I was never once in fear of anything being dropped or broken. They followed us to the storage unit and carried the stuff in much faster then it took to get it out, and packed a 10x12 storage unit more efficiently then I thought possible. I had actually thought that there was no way all of that stuff was going to fit once I saw it in the truck, but it did. The best part of the move was the conversation that the men had between me and my parents the whole time, it kept the process from being as boring as the last time we moved. Once everything was locked up, it was 12:30, putting us at 3 hours of work. Keeping in mind the security deposit, it was supposed to come to $290, but they offered to take $20 off for the half hour that they were late, so it came to $270. Overall I would say I was very happy with this company, and will definitely be using them again in the future.
