Description of Work: I used Hayes for heating and A/C service. Everything, we use them for everything so, they put in the air conditioning unit.

+ -1 moreMike himself did most of the work except for some of the plumbing and activating the gas line. NSTAR gas runs on our street, so some minor excavating was needed, which NSTAR provided, then when all plumbing was completed, NSTAR returned to our property and installed the gas meter and fired up the system. It is now much quieter than our old stuff was. Mike is extremely busy, so his appearances were spread out over time, but his results were well worth the wait. He had the best price of 3 vendors, beating the closest competitor by over $ 2000. Mike is very friendly, and responsive to all concerns. We love our new "furnace"and water heater combination unit and the results of Mike's labors. We highly recommend him. He was responsible for our choice of model, which got us the largest rebate ($ 1200). So right from the start, he helped us make wise decisions. We would not hesitate to recomend him to anyone wanting to switch to gas from oil. He also did excellent repair work on our central air conditioning system. His work is always neat, and he cleans up debris left over after the work.
Description of Work: Mike Hayes converted our home from oil heat to natural gas. He discarded the old furnace (a real antique cast iron boiler from the 1950 era), the old tank-type water heater , and the old oil tank. We were highly impressed by his suggested replacement, a NAVIEN CH-240-NG ASME combi unit that is the size of a suitcase and combines the water heater and furnace in one unit.
