Gary, the owner, came to visit on-site, showed us the options, discussed them with us, then `put up a really great quote.
On the scheduled day his crew came in, built the frame and the trim around the door, installed the door, tuned up everything, took all the debris and left. Nice, polite and proficient folks.
Now, we had a relatively new opener with sensors which we retained from the old installation. Diamond installers put the sensors back but mounted them relatively low because of the position of the brackets on the new door. When the fall came in we discovered that fallen leaves now confuse the sensors. It was almost four months after the job was done, but we called Gary and two days later there came two technicians, mounted the sensors on the walls instead of on the railing and voila! - everything works again.
Since the opener was not originally part of the job we offered to cover the visit but Gary insisted that this is part of the service. Kudos!!
I don't understand why people buy their garage doors from a big store when a proficient, affordable, dependable and hassle free alternative is out there.

These guys are great - very responsive, right on time with appointments. Gary found me great deals on in-stock doors for my barn. I put one in last year and called them again when I need the second one. Very easy people to work with and I got a much better price & product than with another big door company whom I have used in the past.

This is the second time I've called Diamond and they are extremely responsive and professional. This time it was an after hours call and an emergency o avoid frozen pipes. They were here within 2 hours, fixed the problem in 10 minutes and charged a very reasonable price. I would definitely call them again.

Excellent service. Very customer focused. On a finer point, noticed that they used more expensive plastic 'wood' trim boards, which should last a long time. Great attention to detail. I highly recommend Diamond Overhead Door.

I took pictures of my garage doors and emailed them to Diamon Overhead Door to see if the work I needed to have done was something they routinely perform. I received a prompt telephone call from their office manager, who was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, and she answered all my questions. Because the full extent of the work to be done was not known just from my pictures, I scheduled time for the owner to come out and see the job for himself. He arrived on time and already prepared with all the materials. He gave me a preliminary quote, which I accepted, and he went to work immediately.
The work was completed on time and within the guidelines of his quotation. He also saved me some money by re-programming my existing remote units rather than replacing them with new. The bumper pieces he installed look better than the originals and the doors both work perfectly.
Based on my experience, I consider Diamond Overhead Door service to be reliable, accurate, punctual, and performing quality work at a very fair price.

The process went very well. Know in advance your true size of openings with trim etc, to get the most opening out of your door.
Make sure you have the electrical ready so the unit can be site tested.
Look at info on line before meeting with sales people, it will save you time and money.
It's is nice to deal with an owner operator. Gary was the real thing.

Their quote was very competitive with other companies' quotes. Josh from Diamond Overhead Door was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the door we were about to purchase. The installation on March 10th was very quick and they did a great job!

They did a very good job. They were honest and did everything that they said that they would do. Gary was very good to deal with. He was very upfront and answered all of my questions. His son, Josh, installed the door. They were very conscientious and I am very happy with how everything turned out. I would recommend them to anybody.
