We are so pleased with the renovation Jim did for us. He is extremely professional~ he gave us a thorough estimate of the work to be done and also had the electrician and plumber he used come and give us a thorough estimate so we felt confident of staying close to our budget. Any additional charges we had were the result of changes we asked for. Jim was at our home every week day (and a couple of times on a Saturday)~ he came around 8 AM and put in a full day's work. ~ he kept us informed of any issues he encountered and he alway responded to our calls and emails almost immediately. We would not hesitate to hire Jim again and highly recommend him to anyone who wants work done in a professional, timely manner.

Jim was extremely helpful throughout the whole process....Always very timely in getting back to me with any tiny request....Jim was extremely punctual and he always showed up to do the work when he promised....Jim totally renovated my bathroom, took down a wall to accomodate a new two bowl granite countertop....Jim's tile work surpassed all of my expectations...his attention to detail shows in every aspect of his work......After my bathroom was gutted and the project got underway, the outcome was beyond what I expected....Jim is an expert at what he does and takes the time to do the job right, not cutting corners....I love, love, love my new bathroom!!!...Jim was very considerate in making sure I did not have many days of down time without usage of my bathroom.....I will be hiring Jim in the near future to install floors and also any other projects that come up....Jim is very honest and takes a great deal of pride in all of his work...I fully trust him on any project going forward.

They did a great job at a reasonable price. When they found rot in the wood they took care of it and finished the bathroom in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Jim and his team.

Our house is over 200 years old, so I always pad in extra money when I receive an estimate because something always comes up. With Walsh General Contracting, the estimate is always on target. If there is ever an additional charge (due to safety issues from previous owners doing their own incorrect work), it is discussed and options provided. No work is ever done without the customer's approval first, so there is never any surprise on the bill.
When the second story addition that was added over 1/2 the house was done, you could not tell it was added on - it fit so well with the many angles of our house, it looked like it had been part of the house all along. As I said, our house is over 200 years old and has an unusual structure due to different additions added over the years.
One of the qualities I appreciate most with Walsh General Contracting is that I deal with Jim Walsh, the owner. He deals with any other services we need (electricians, plumbers, etc.) and not only saves me the aggravation, but saves me money also.
Every job has been done in a professional manner and he stands behind his work. If I ever have to contact him, I have always received a reply immediately, even if he was busy.
Jim is very diligent and goes the extra mile. I am always surprised after every job because of the additional small touches that he adds that just finish the room - he is a true artisan. When Walsh Contracting is working on a job for us, my husband and I can't wait to get home at night to see what has been done.

He is just incredible and outstanding. He did a fabulous job and was fabulous to deal with. The person that he recommended for the granite was also note worthy. We didn't even get any other estimate for our second bathroom after he did our first bathroom. That is how excellent he is. His prices are very fair. His work ethic is unbelievable. If he says that he would be there at 8 o'clock in the morning, he would be there at 8 o'clock in the morning. I will call only him to do our kitchen next year and nobody else. He coordinates everything and we are not just waiting. It was a huge bathroom and the price included the plumber, electrician and the tile for the floor. I can't say enough about him. He offers a 5-year guarantee that if we are unhappy or if it doesn't work. He is just great.
