Great. He came by on a rainy Christmas eve for an emergency roof repair. A tree had fallen onto our house and we had guests arriving in a few hours. He did a great job getting us all set and walking me through the process I needed to file an insurance claim.

Dan responded to my request for proposal quickly and visited my home on the indicated day/time. He checked what I needed to get done for my project and within a day sent me a detail proposal. His price was reasonable so I decided to hire his company. The work completed by his company was excellent, cleaned up and were very polite. I would hire again for other projects.

This is a long overdue review. Dan was the only one to respond to a desperate call for removal of snow from roof, which as it melted was pouring into house, in the horrible winter of 2015. He got the job done quickly and then was extremely helpful through the many months of negotiating with the insurance company. Once that was settled, thanks to his help, he and his team redid several rooms in the house and all of the work looks beautiful. He is very approachable and explains things so that you understand what is needed without being in the least bit pushy. He continues to do plowing, and he will definitely be called again the next time work needs to be done.

Dan is an outstanding contractor who rolls with the punches. Our bathroom was original (50's) and at the interface of two previous renovations, so there were many 'surprises' along the way. They handled them without missing a beat and kept the project on budget. The work was high-quality and we will definitely hire them again.

Provided timely and professional service in upgrading our basement. We are very pleased with the results.

2 days before Christmas a tree fell on our house. I reached out to a number of roofers but most said they no longer repaired roofs. The day before Christmas, Dan swung by and within a few hours had patched up my roof. He told me what I needed to tell my insurance company and what larger repairs needed to be performed that would take a full crew. The gutters and ridge vent were also damaged and would require extensive repair. Despite being what he described as a "quick patch job", it never leaked and I enjoyed my Christmas knowing he did a great job. He bought me enough time to get all the insurance process worked out without feeling rushed. His schedule was too busy to be able to fix the siding on my house, so I had another group do that. But I'm having Dan come by and inspect their work. So grateful that Dan was straight forward and let me know when he honestly would be available rather than string me along like so many other businesses. He is very patient and has also guided me through the process of finishing our attic space. I will definitely use Dan again.

Dan was very responsive and prompt. He returned my call the same day and came out to review the work the next day. He was ready to take on the work even though it was a small job. The work was performed a few business days later and everything looked great. Cost was reasonable and competitive.

Anyone who has gone through a renovation knows how stressful it can be. Dan Vallerand made this experience better than I could have ever hoped for. He is professional, yet kind and considerate. He was patient and explained everything that was going on. When I got anxious he assured me he was on board until the very end and he was. His team was reliable, punctual and very neat. I simply cannot recommend Dan and his team enough.

Dan and Vallerand Builders were a one stop shop for me. Prior to finding Vallerand Builders I had called countless roofers and contractors in the area before checking Angie's list and none of the them so much as called me back and if they did said they would only do full roof repairs or job was too small for them to do right now. Dan called me back within 24hrs and was out to see me the next day. Dan was professional and courteous and listened to what I wanted. Once we agreed on the work to be completed and a contract was in place he met with the carpenter assigned to my home to walk through the project right before the work began so that we were all on the same page. The carpenter completed the job in the window of time we had available and left the job site neat and clean with no trash or debris left behind. I look forward to working with Vallerand builders on future projects and would highly recommend them.

Dan was great to work with - very knowledgeable and honest. The crew and the quality of the workmanship was fantastic, and we so appreciated how well they cleaned up at the end of each day, and especially at the end of the project. They vacuumed the composite and wood shavings off the driveway and even the grass! I will definitely call on them for future projects. Thank you!

Absolutely excellent service. Very precise and careful plowing. Always completed in a timely fashion. Very little manual shoveling necessary.

This was a very dusty job and odd job due to the old age of the building.  Overall I think Vallerand did a great job considering that there were some communications issues with the four  owners.   I would have liked them to be more clear what is happening and when, and we had a little rough start because of that.  Overall work quality was excellent and they were able to work around with the owners schedules. All the workers were very knowledgeable and professional.

Dan is top notch - he was professional and spent time explaining
everything he would do. A tree fell and punctured my roof and when he
was done you could not tell it even happened everything was an exact
match. The work was fast and for the most part we did not even know it
was being done. I recommend Vallerand Builders, Inc. highly as we
received three quotes for the work but Dan offered to do the most and
was on time on budget and always smiling.

Overall job was well done.  Very neat workmanship and kitchen was only down for 2 days.

Dan is completely professional, reliable, punctual, honest, and smart.  An all around great guy.  He will also look for ways to keep costs down.  His workers also speak highly of him, and he treats them with the utmost respect.  Working with Dan and having him as a resource is like having a family member as a contractor.  I look forward to continuing our relationship with him for years to come, and I highly recommend him.

Overall Dan has done a great job for us keeping our driveway clean and usable since 2004.  He's completely reliable, fair, and easy to work with.  He keeps our driveway clean during long storms, so we don't have to wait for the end before we can get out.  We don't have to nag him to come when plowing is needed, but when the city plow deposits a wall of snow at the end of our driveway after he has plowed he comes when we call and takes care of it.  This last winter when we had record-breaking snow he brought in a front end loader to move the snow back, which was sorely needed, and he also applies sand when the driveway freezes.  He even keeps our mail box accessible for the mail man.  All in all I couldn't ask for more.

Dan was so great to work with. The project was postponed due to issues with the tenants, and Dan was completely flexible and understanding. He was able to fit us is as soon as we were able to move forward, and he was pretty efficient in getting it done, with one exception that was a bit beyond his control. he was always kind and helpful on the phone and gave really good advice.

In the middle of this crazy MA winter, Dan was the only person out of dozens I tried who answered his phone.  He was very responsive and helpful, and worked hard to help us out in a tough spot.  We had severe ice dams backing up water and causing leaks.  Dan got a team here quickly and they did a great job on the roof, removing all the snow and ice.  Our leaking stopped immediately.

I would highly recommend Dan and plan on using his service again.

Dan is extremely reliable in providing us with snow plowing service. Also offered and provided reasonably priced front-end loader service to remove large amounts of snow that would soon be blocking our garage entrance.

Dan also has been extremely helpful in researching ways to fixed our roof ice dam problem quickly. While we did not take him up on this (outside contractor, too costly), he was determined to help us find a solution for which we are truly grateful.
