The roof was in line with everybody else's price. It may have been a little bit more expensive but we liked dealing with the guy. They were super clean, they knew we had pets so they were aware of  the nails and such so the ones that got away were like about 3 and they were quick. They were really professional and I had a really god experience with them.

Mike Pellegrino and his crew installed new roofing shingles on house and garage that measured 3000sqft. Work was done over a 4 day period.Quality work was performed. Mike responded twice to repair a very large skylite water leak after a rain storm with next day  service.No problems in last 8 months. |We would recommend Mike and his crew to any and all homeowners.

Responded to initial contact within one hour. Crew was very professional and quick. Cleaned up after each day, nothing was left behind (not one nail). Most of our communications were via e-mail but were lacking in response time. Delays were incurred due to weather conditions, but was these delays were not communicated.

Mike Pellegrino is very personable and professional.   He listened to the history of my roof leaks, explained in simple terms the sources of the problems, assured me that they would be addressed, and answered all my questions.  
Mike and his crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date.  The crew was experienced and organized.  The work was completed in a timely manner and as promised.  The cleanup was thorough.   I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work and confident Mike will stand behind it.
Mike Pelligrino's crew did an excellent job stripping and re-shingling my roof.    I will be recommending him to all my friends and will be talking to him about siding in the spring.

Work was done in less than a day and clean-up was excellent.  Honored the Angie's List discount even though I requested it after the fact.  Polite and professional in all regards

We bought our home in Groveland, MA about a year ago, and our roof was in pretty rough shape.  We got three different quotes, and Mike had the lowest price of all three quotes.  He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, and got back to us within minutes every time.  He really took the time to explain all of the issues with our roof, what he planned to do, and all of the products that he was going to use.  I was really impressed with the detailed brochure that he gave us; it explained everything about the shingles, the warranty, etc.  The warranty was great.  The other two quotes I got only insured the shingles/work for 10 years, where Mike's warranty was for 50 years!  That really gave me the piece of mind that if I had any issues, Mike would be back to take care of them.  Both Mike and his crew were incredibly personable, and did amazing work.  The roof looks absolutely beautiful, and has really increased the overall appearance of our home.  My wife and I still just take the time to stop and admire the roof.  We probably need to get a life, but these things are exciting when you get old.   The cleanup was impeccable.  I literally could not find one roofing nail in the yard after they were done.  I have another rental property in Haverhill and I plan on replacing the roof as soon as I save up the money.  I would not call anyone else but Mike after this experience.  I would highly recommend Mike if you have any issues with your roof.  You will be 100 percent satisfied.

Pellegrino Construction did an excellent job on our roof.  While it has only been a few weeks since completion, we are very pleased with the work.  Mike P. was very responsive and professional throughout and answered all of our many questions. We would definitely recommend them and use them again. 
We first had Mike come and assess whether we could repair a leak.  He indicated he could likely repair it for a reasonable cost, although there was no guaranty the fix would work,  He was the only roofer we saw who was wiling to try to fix the leak before replacing the roof.  He also explained why we would soon need a new roof and let us now that we could likely wait a year or two, with minimal risk (this was the consensus among the roofers we spoke to).   Among the roofers we spoke to, he did not oversell the need for a new roof and provided an excellent explanation of the various issues.  We decided to replace the roof now to be sure to fix the leak and not worry about a problem in the next year or two.  Mike was flexible on using the materials we desired (within the constraints of the mfr. warranty) and on timing.  Compared to the other roofers we spoke to, Mike's pricing was a positive as well. 
His team also cleaned up well and pointed out how they accidentally damaged an end cap on our deck.  Mike immediately repaired the damaged end cap and has been responsive after the  job as well in answering a question or two of mine.  

I called Mike at Pellegrino Construction based on the reviews in Angie's list, and had a call back the next day.  Mike came to the house the day after the call back, and got up on the roof and did all the measurements. He found a leak at one of my vent pipes and caulked it, at no charge.
I received a quote of $7,500.00 to replace the existing roof on the original house, as well as, the large addition.  The price included removal of the existing asphalt shingles, applying the ice and water shield at the edge of the roof up 6 feet, 15lb felt paper underlayment on the remaining exposed areas, install ridge vent, new pipe flanges, and re-lead the chimney. It also included the dumpster, and disposal of the old asphalt shingles.
After receiving the quote, I mentioned that I had a 10% coupon from my Angie's list monthly edition, and he subtracted the 10% off the $7,500.00, the roof came to $6,750.00.
During the process I saw that my gutters were in bad shape, and asked for an additional quote for the gutters.  Mike quoted me $1,000.00 for the gutters, and downspouts.
It took 2 1/2 days to replace the roof and gutters. The crew cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day.  The last day they walk around the house to be sure that everything was picked up.  They even had a rolling magnetic rake that picked up all nails, and other assorted metal objects from the patio, walkways, driveway, and lawn.
I couldn't be happier with the service and the outcome.

Overall:

•  - The price was decent
•  - Michael and his crew were responsive and professional on the day of service, however after the day of service everything fell apart and I was ignored from there on out.
•  - The rubber was done well
•  - But I felt a bit mislead about the repitching and don't think I should have stagnant water sitting on the roof for 4-5 days after paying to have it fixed.
•  - After the job was completed, Michael repeatedly stated he would come back out to address my concerns.  After three to four months he still hasn't stopped by or even made a call to apologize

In the end, I was VERY disappointed with the pitching and the complete lack of customer service.  It has soured me on Pellegrino.  I would not use them again or recommend them, in fact I would recommend to avoid them.

My Wife and are in the process of getting our home prepped for sale and there was a small leak I had noticed while in the attic recently during a rainstorm.
I'd called at least 4 other Angie's list A+ rated roofers prior to calling Pellegrino Construction and had only 1 of them return my call.  Apparently A+ rating or not, if you're only interested in a repair, most roofers cannot be bothered.
Mike was able to swing by 2 days after my call.
While up there I asked if he could evaluate the condition of the current roof and give me a quote for a replacement just in case.
He got up on the roof, identified the problem and fixed it using a spare shingle I happened to have handy.
He gave me a very reasonable estimate, and was not planning on charging me for the repair at all!  I gave him $50 and asked if I could get a receipt, just to show any home inspectors who might question the new shingle, and he obliged.
I would absolutely consider Pellegrino Construction for any future job.  Mike's response to our situation was incredible considering the level of responsiveness I'd grown used to with other contractors.

Mike thought that the leak could be originating at the edge of the dormers.  He got up and looked at it and was kind enough to put some caulk in that area and told us that that small step could possibly solve the problem and that it was worth trying.  It's too early for us to tell if that is the fix or not, but I do appreciate anyone who is honest and tries the simplest step first instead of electing to put a whole new roof on.   

He was very nice, polite, and punctual. Everything turned out very well with the job.

Mike returned my husband’s call the same day we called him, asked if we were available and came out that same day to give us an estimate.  He came by later that same week to do the job in an hour and a half.  We are very happy with the results.  They cleaned up after themselves completely, and he was extremely courteous and pleasant.

Work took 2 days, with easy side of the roof taking 1 afternoon and the other was completed the next.
I was very impressed with the efficiency and cleanliness that they operated. 
I couldn't even tell that my roof had been torn off, there was hardly any trace of all the garbage.
Mike was a very helpful contractor and answered my gamut of questions. We went back and forth over email numerous times. He was very responsive.
I'd recommend Pellegrino construction to anyone!

When I called Pellegrino Constructors - I spoke to the owner Mike - he responded to my call almost immediately - came out and inspected the roof.  He told me that the previous roof that was on there was pretty much thrown on there.  His company performed the work in extremely cold weather.....and even though Mike wasn't feeling well - he was on the job also.  They were very courteous and professional - and worked in extreme cold.   That did a very nice job - put a rubber roof on and I am just so happy to be able to use the three season porch......  The only thing that I am watching is the wrinkle that they tell me will flatten in time (sun and heat will help).  I would definitely use them again and in fact am getting an estimate on siding from them.

Finding a roofing contractor can be a very stressful process. Mike Pellegrino made this experience very easy.  We are extremely happy with our roof and siding.  We have seen our friends and neighbors siding and can see a noticable difference in our siding compared to theirs.  Ours looks 100% better.  Another plus was that Mike was GAF/Elk certified.  This gives us a Lifetime warranty on our roof.  I would recommend Pellegrino Construction to everyone!

My mother's house was in desparete need of a new roof and never being a homeowner myself, I didn't know where or who to turn to or what a reasonable price was to completely replace a roof.  I asked around and Pellegrino Construction was mentioned more than once along with nothing but good things said about them, so I contacted them.  Mike Pellegrino came out to meet me at the house and inspected the roof throughly and explained everything that needed to be done and why along with offering me a few different price quotes based on the different materials that he could use to complete the job.  I took to the quote home and thought about it for a few days before calling him to schedule it. When they came out to the house install the new roof, Mike Pellegrino and his crew were very professional and always on time and completed the in a timely manner. At the end of each day the crew always went around the house to clean up and never left a mess behind.  When the job was complete, Mike followed up shortly afterwards to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job, which I was and still am.  I would recommend Pellegrino Construction to anyone that needs a new roof installed.

I found Pellegrino Construction when I noticed one of their trucks at my neighbor's house.  I walked over and introduced myself to the company's owner who happened to be there, Mike Pellegrino.  Just from the conversation we had there, I was quite impressed with Mike.  He was very up front with what needed to be done and I found his price to be strongly competitive with his competition.  I always say you get what you pay for and with Pellegrino Construction, every penny is worth it.  Mike and his entire crew were very professional when they were at my house.  They were on time every day and completed the job in less time than they initially thought.  I always felt like their top priority when talking with them, and clearly by the quality of their work; I was.  They turned what could have been a painful nightmare of roof work into a pleasantly painless experience.  Mike even followed up with me weeks after the work was done to ensure that I was more than satisfied with the outcome.  I told him that I was and then some.  I highly recommend Pellegrino Construction to anyone with roofing needs.

Excellent!  All the work that they performed was completed in one day.  One thing I was impressed with was that they used a chalk line to guarantee the shingles were perfectly straight from top to bottom.  All of Pellegrino Construction workers were very respectful, professional and most importantly on time.  They were cautious of my landscaping and even mentioned they installed gutters if need be.  The owner Mike made me feel like my house was just as important as his.  When the job was completed, they vaccumed out my gutters, cleaned my yard and removed all nails from the property.  With all their years of experience, it showed in their work.  I would recommend Pellegrino Construction to anybody.

Unbelievable effort on the part Mike Pellegrino and the rest of the team at Pellegrino Construction to get my new roof and gutter system installed in a small window of time.  My roof needed replacing and it was identified late in the process of some other work being done at my home.  I contacted Pellegrino Construction after I was referred by another customer of theirs and they came out and installed my roof and gutters that same week and on top of it gave me a very good price!  They kept the grounds tidy and cleaned up each day.  Also, they provided a warranty which made me very happy.  I would certainly use them on another job and would recommend them to anyone.  Great effort and great price!  Thanks Mike and team!

First Mike discussed what needed to be done.  Then he explained what materials would be needed and recommended what color shingles would be the best for my house.  Mike kept me informed of what was happening each day.  The job was completed in two days and everything was left just the way it was before.
