They're personal you know you have a particular question, they would have employees there that will help you make a decision and sometimes or at least guide you to different parts of the store that you should go to find something.

There's only one hardware store, as far as I'm concerned. They're the ultimate hardware store. They have everything at very good prices. I know a lot of people there. They're just great. They're always busy talking with customers, but once you get to talk to them, you lay out your problem and wham! Basically if you can't get it at O'Conners, you don't need it. The completeness of the store is excellent, in terms of what they sell. They have bird feeding supplies and birding supplies. Anything you would find in a large hardware store, you'll find there, particularly deep in hardware. They just have the most amazing products. There's very little you can't find there. They pretty much have everything. I have an account there and the billing is excellent. I never had a problem with billing.

O'Conner Hardware they are very efficient, they are very good for a lot of different reasons.  I chose that hardware store because it's a family business so it's not like a Home Depot or something like that.  I think that's a lot better and the staff is very knowledgable.  I feel their pricing is average.  I think they make it a point like for instance, even the kids that work there, they are high school kids, they are very personable, they also know their stuff.  Which is good.  What ever department they are put into they have a pretty good idea of what they are talking about.  I have always had a good experience.  Much more so than a Home Depot.  Sometimes it works and sometimes the guy has no clue what you are talking about.

It is just a convenient location. They are well supplied for other things.

O'Connor is the best hardware store in the Boston area.
In terms of selection, it beats Home Depot, Lowe's and other independent hardware stores. Some examples of items O'Connor carried while Home Depot did not:
- deep drip pans
- 7 inch smoke pipes (one of several nonstandard sizes O'Connor has in stock)
- an extra large (30 inch) leaf rake
Also, they carry nuts and bolts in all sorts of inch and metric sizes, while most independent hardware stores carry only inch sizes.

I thought the service was excellent. They did a fine job. I have no complaints. You go in and can buy all sorts of things.

O'Connor True Value Hardware & Center are very good. It is a good go to place. We like them as a hardware place. They are like a family place.

Very helpful folks - the roto tiller broke during the rental - when i returned it, they gave me a refund for a partial day.
